Diet Question: Nearing Target Weight

OK. I started my diet in the 2nd week of Jan. Today, I am almost at the target weight I had decided to aim for. The diet isn't hard: avoid sugar, avoid carbs, eat more during the course of the day (6 or more small meals), no beer (hate this part). So, since I'm nearing my target weight, do I start moderating the diet or stick to it and see where it goes? If the diet is healthier, then surely staying on it and the subsequent weight loss would be healthy right?

Not really. I was a big beer guy and I really miss that, but that's all. So just stay the course and see where it ends up? I had considered looking at switch to the Mediterranean diet for maintenance.

Maybe add back beer when you hit your goal and see what happens. You can always eliminate it again if you start ballooning.

Do you have abs?
Yes - Maintain
No - Cut more

Take a full weekend off. Eat like shite and get hammered.
Start back on Monday with a new target weight/goal

Exactly the way I quit drinking permanently 22 years ago. Stick with it and make a lifestyle change.
