I’ve never had one, and yes I’m going to the doctor.
I sitting here this morning, feeling all fine and all. All of a sudden, I start getting cramp in my right kidney area (felt muscular). I stand, do some stretches, but it got worse. It started traveling to my belly. It felt like a diarrhea cramp behind a constipation block, but I didn’t have to go to the bathroom, nor was my stomach rumbling, just a line cramp. I break out in the meat sweats, and even threw up once. After sitting on the toilet for nearly an hour, a small stream of urine came out and it burned a little(not been with any dirty hookers). I didn’t see anything in the toilet. I start feeling better some. I went and took about a 30 min HOT bath, and now I feel fine. I still have a slight burning feeling in my urethra.

possible. you wont see a stone most of the time. that seems like a very short passage time for one though.

Did you have pain in the lower left of your abdomen?

It could be diverticulitis related.

It can cause all of the above that you mentioned and it can come/go very quickly.

Could be a kidney stone or UTI.

I've had at least 20 kidney stones pass in the past 10 years and had to have some removed in the hospital due to their size.

Here's how it usually goes for me. Pains in my lower back, then excrutiating pains as the stone travels through my urinary tract from the kidney to the bladder-----this can take a day or two or up to a week or more.

Then there's the almost constant feeling like you have to pee, but nothing but drips and dribbles comes out. That is when the stone is about to enter the bladder. Once in the bladder it passes pretty quickly. I can't tell you how many times I've been peeing and the stone stops the flow of urine as it goes from the bladder to the toilet. Then a little "plunk" as it hits the water and all the discomfort is gone-----until the next one.

The biggest one I passed on my own was shaped like a grain of rice and was 1/4 inch across and 1/2 inch long. I have that one saved in an old pill bottle.

The biggest one I've ever had was lodged in my left kidney and an MRI showed it to be 2 cm, which is roughly 3/4 inch around.

No way in hell I was going to pass that one so they broke it up and removed it in 3 procedures as it exited my kidney.

ETA: Like you realized, I have taken baths as hot as I could stand them when in pain from the stones and it does offer almost immediate pain relief, but it only lasts a short time after out the tub.

Probably sitting in your bladder. It'll come out.

Update, peeing fine, no burn or sore back. I actually had to catch a flight today and I’m now in WDW.
My daughter said they just learned about this in her High school nursing class, said it sounded like a micro piece broke off, that’s why it passed so quick, and more than likely, a big one is coming (hopefully not this weekend)

This. When I had diverticulitis, very painful peeing was my sign to go to the ER. Spent several days in the hospital and then had surgery a couple of months later.
