So after my post yesterday, I hit the gym and dropped weight on everything. I then went home and tried to assemble a Christmas gift and sliced my left hand up. So I'm down a week again.

Anyways here's my workout from yesterday

Incline bench

1x6 150

Squat
2x5x5 175
1x6 175

Weighted close grip pushups
2x12 25

Side lateral raises
5x15 10

4 giant sets of 45 sec belt squats, Copenhagens and either Romanian Deads or Nordic Curls/Reverse Hypers.

Calves and Abs. 4 sets of weighted sprints and then tabata air bike.

Yelawolf and Whiskey Myers for tunes. Rainy and 50 in Tucson today. Now over to Star Wars, return of Skywalker.

Rise of Skywalker. Saw it on Sunday. It was a good movie. I don’t listen to critics about it.

I thought it was solid ending and did as good a job as it could covering up the mistakes of VIII imo.

I liked it a lot. Some of the negative reviews I saw said it was fan service.

I liked that the movie gave fans what they'd like. I was a fan of the originals and I was good with Rise of Skywalker designed to give to fans.

I’ve never understand why people don’t like fan service. The fans are what make these movies profitable. Why not give them what makes them happy?

When you have a beloved series with characters people feel strongly about, there's no problem with fan service.

Giving fans Han, Luke, Leia, Lando and Chewy as we remember them...nothing wrong with that.

I see some gripe about Fin. Which, I agree a little. He has some power in the Force, but they don’t expand on it at all. They gave Kilo Ren an epic ending.

Wtf did I walk into, I guess the three strongest needs on the board are arguing about which start trek was the best?

What’s your sticking point on bench? Is it the lock out? Getting it off your chest? Maybe work on your back (kroc rows, barbell rows, etc.).

Sticking point is about 2" from my chest. It's definitely a back issue but it's not my lats or traps so kroc/barbell rows won't help. About a year ago my PT accidentally hit a nerve in my back while dry needling and temporarily paralyzed the muscle that controls the scapula on my left side. Can't remember what its called but It's a hard muscle to isolate so it's taking a long time to build it back up.

5/3/1 BBB Cycle 2 Week 1

Squat 195x5 225x 255x5
Squat 165 5x10
BP: 140 5x10

Felt a little under the weather so no accessories. Deload week treated me well. 255 went down and up smooth.

Yeah, I liked Rise of Skywalker. What?

Low box squats up to 90% x2 in giant sets with reverse hyper, copenhagens and nordic curls. I just went to 90% because it was the first time with a bar on the back since my bakc injury. 3 of these.

3 giant sets of 45 sec belt squats, RDL's with 225 (again, being safe with the back) and banded stallions.

Calves, weighted sprints and air bike tabata to finish.

Paused bench triples to 235. Might have had more in the tank, but focusing more on building than pushing it.

4 giant sets of weighted pushups, face pulls, side laterals, pullovers, flyes, curls and floor press.

Zercher yoke carry supersetted with neck and then upper body tabata air bike to finish.

What's the logic behind the weights on the sets here? Usually I see the programs progressively increase the sets each set, but your last set goes back down for still a working number of sets.
