I never got into morning workouts, which is usually ok.

When I'm at work and work is tiring and I get out an hour and a half late, after work gets harder.

Yikes. Terrible workout today.

No chest day since last Wednesday and only one other gym trip between then. No energy.

Barely managed 225x6. Struggled through two reps at 245. Ditched the bar and just finished with an arse of volume on incline/decline/flies and dips.

One week off....effffff that

Heavier today, fairly successful. Bench to 260, deadlift to 485. Hit some platform deads and glute ham raises, then 2 giant sets of banded, weighted pushups, rows and band ohp.

Finished with gorilla grip and suitcase deads. It was raining, so no strongman work outside.

Day 1 of 1 rep max week. Did two reps of flat bench at 315. Pretty stoked as that’s a new PR for me. Based on the reps, I think my true 1RM is 325. Deadlift is up next tomorrow morning.

Disappointed. Pulled 365 conventional cleanly and then got a shaky 385. One day I’ll get four plates. Ugh.

Just keep pushing.

Deadlift is a weird lift like that for me. It took me a long time in the 300's, then as soon as I hit 405, I got to 420 within weeks.

Oh I will. Next up is Seated OHP Thursday and then squats Friday. Expecting around 200 for SOHO and around 345-355 for squat.

I had a Spartan Race Saturday. Still slightly sore but was definitely the easiest of all my Spartan Races.

Bench 200 x10

Good day here. 10 reps puts my estimates 1RM at 265ish which means I’m definitely getting stronger. Gonna keep building up this base till Christmas vacation.

Squat 245 3x4
Hit 6 reps on the last set. These still feel good. No complaints overall

I'm on GSLP. Not posting warmup sets

Bench - 140x5 2 sets, then an amrap. Got 7 reps.

Close Grip bench - 75x10 2 sets
OH inclined DB press - 35x12 2 sets

Squat - 190x5 2 sets then amrap, got 7 reps

3 giant sets of bench with 225, db rows and side laterals. Hit a new rep pr of 8 on bench.

2 giant sets of weighted, feet elevated pushups, trx rows, banded dips, curls and close grip board press.

Finished with sledgehammers and 250 lb sandbag carries. Then bloodflow restriction biceps.

Dynamic SSB squats. 225x3 for 5 supersets with either isometric deadlifts or good mornings and glute ham raises.

Then some calves, then farmers walk and yoke walk in the front rack position. Some gorilla grip work to finish.

Worked squats today. Singles at 345 4 times. Did some calves and then Tabata intervals on the air bike.

Raining again, so no strongman.

Finished off max week.

Got an easy rep at 195 on seated OHP so went for 205 and failed halfway up. I’m comfortable with that though so gonna start doing regular OHP progression next week.

Got a really clean 345 rep on squats!! Pretty excited about that because squats are my biggest weakness, especially after my ankle injury. Gonna reset around 245 and progress back up.

Now I’m dead and need food.

Heavy tonight. 4 bench singles from 245-260. Worked up to a 495 deadlift attempt, missed that just below the knees.

Did 3 isometric deadlift singles, then 2 giant sets of weighted pushups, rows, close grip board press and band OHP. Finished with some glute ham raises, sandbag cleans and bloodflow restriction biceps.
