Wasn't supposed to deadlift until monday but my Texas deadlift bar finally came in and I couldn't help myself. The narrower diameter and the extra whip is awesome. I definitely could've gone for a PR at 500 lbs. but decided against it.

5 SS of tempo OHP 3@105 + 10 pull-ups alternating between pronated and supinated grips

3 giant sets of the following:
15 front/lateral raises
15 hammer curls
15 pushdowns

You are right at parallel ... MAYBE a touch high.

But you also had knee wraps and a back brace so it doesn’t count. :)

This has not been my year for fitness. Injured myself a month ago with what I thought was just a sprain and have now learned it’s a fracture. No lifting for at least another month :cry:

You can absolutely wear a belt and the type of knee wraps he was using in USPA raw competition.

Received my Kadillac Bar late last week and today was the first time using it. I'll write an actual review on it after I have a few more sessions in with it, but I can tell y'all this - it's one sweet bar. I'll probably bench exclusively with this bar for at least a month. Compared to a strait bar bench press, strength was down a little, but not by as much as I expected. This morning was a 5+ day and I got 9 reps with the kadillac bar. I think I could've gotten 10-11 reps with a strait bar. Definitely not as big of a difference going from a strait bar back squat to a SSB - I was squatting about 30 less with the SSB.

Bench - 5@140, 5@160, 5+@185 (9)

5 SS of tempo bench press 5@140 + 10 DB rows per side

3 giant sets of the following:
10 close grip bench presses
15 EZ bar curls
15 banded face pulls

First time getting back at it since before the hurricane, so about 6 weeks. I'm about 25 lbs over were I need to be and have gained about 12-15 lbs since week before the storm. I am fricking miserable at this weight, honestly.

Got diet back on track today and will be hitting it pretty hard just frying to hit 2000 call, 250g protein. Rest doesn't matter right now.

Didn't get crazy with it

Warm-up was very thorough

Standing Db shoulder press-50s x 8, 45s x 10, 40s x 12

Ring pull-ups- bw- 4/3/3

Kb bottoms up goblet squat-53 x 10 & 10

Jump rope- just went until I couldn't anymore.

Honestly am miserable and need to get this weight off asap.
