They are about the same. Seems like I could finish a 1000m row maybe 10 seconds faster than a 1000m ski, but that might have just been how I felt that day.

15cal AB
15cal ski
15 burpees
30 double unders

RX+ is 20 cals on AB and Ski . . . might do that so I won't do as many burpees.

Garage session this evening after putting the kiddos to bed

Strength 5x5 work
Bench press 175,175,185,195,205
Bent over rows 135,135,135,185,185

Conditioning
First workout
Tabata
18 rounds
First round - dumbbell snatches 35lbs
Second round - pushups
Third round - toes to bar
So ends up six rounds of each exercise

Second conditioning workout
10 mins AMRAP
5 dumbbell hang clean and press at 35lbs
10 ab mat sit ups
5 dead hang pull ups

9 rounds finished

Was also my first time using the soflete non stimulate based pre workout

This stuff is the shite, got a great pump, focus and was able to push through my conditioning with ease. This stuff might be a CrossFit must.

No itching or shakes.

I’m not even close.

I can row a pretty comfortable 1:50 pace. Have one sub 7 2000 to my name.

That ski erg kills me at 2:10 pace.

How’s your heart rate on that shite?

I tried insane labs “cuts” recently which is awesome for regular power lifting but I did a wod on it and was 75% sure I was going to have a heart attack. Scared the shite out of me.

I felt no change in heart rate

It took a little longer to kick in that regular pre work out but it’s good

And I didn’t have to shite befor lifting

I use body weight to get the handles moving and then snap my arms down and back. Best way I have found to get it moving and keep the pace. Similar to rowing with using your legs first and snapping back with your arms at the end.

10 Strict Ring Dips
Run Door to Door
20 Sit Ups
Run Door to Door

Subbed dips for push ups. Finished 3 rounds + 16. Really hate WODs like this, boring grind. Especially with this many burpees . Wish I could just throw in headphones and gut it out. I generally tune out whatever music they have going.

I’ve done that before. Pretty sure they thought I was being a B but I work out better with my own music, especially if it’s a lame wod.

Garage gym session today

Strength - power snatches I suck at heavy snatches but today was the first time I went over 95lbs in a year. Hit 115, will be back over 135 in no time

Conditioning
20 min AMRAP
5 hang clean and press at 95lbs
5 dead hang pull ups
10 dumbbell snatches at 35lbs
10 toes to bar
