My plan is to put all my energy into fighting for a rower. I may go to the earlier class and wait around until someone stands up from a rower.

Oly class today

OLY CLASS

A. Snatch Balance + Pause OHS: (2 SB +1 OH)x 3 sets (moderate) , (1 SB+ 1 OHS) x 3 (heavy)

B. Muscle Snatch + Tall Snatch (3 MS +3 TS) x 3

C. Snatch High Pull+ Hang Snatch+ Snatch: (2 SHP +2 HS +2 S) x 2, (1+1+1) x 3


Did various weights, but heaviest successful snatches at 115. I think I could get 135 but the mental hurdle of dropping under the bar is stopping me like it was for a while with cleans. Need more practice dropping under the bar with comfortable weight. I can high pull 135 up to my chin. Just need to stop being a little bitch

3 front squat
3 jerk

Perform both movements with the :60

So 45 reps of each.

Went too light at 115#.

I upped my pre-workout today as per the directions. Yeah, I won't be ever doing that again. 1 scoop from now on. I thought the skin on my face was going to jump off.

Alx I’m planning on going on no preworkout. Want to see if there is a difference. Hard not taking anything when going at 5am.

10 dbell snatch
15 dbell hops

Rest 3:00 - Repeat

I stopped after 5 rounds for a few reasons, 1. I was about to poo my pants 2. it really sucked.

Going floor to overhead for alot of reps in a workout really makes my lower back tighten up, it was getting pretty bad after 5 rounds.

Workout of the Day

For time:

50 box jumps (30/24)
50 KBS (70/53)
50 Knees to Elbow
50 Wall Balls (30/20)
50 burpees

Having a strange, painful pulling sensation in my lower bicep when I reach overhead, so I modified this one a lot on top of scaling.

I started out on box jumps at 20" just to start getting my feet wet on box jumps, then switched to 24" step ups when fatigued.

Did Russian KBS
Laying knee to elbows
30lb ball squats
Step up burpees
