Ours today is almost entirely deadlift. Hate to miss two days in a row, but I think it's best for my body. My LB is still sore from last week. I guess I could go in the back and do yesterday's.

Just do some really light weights. Help stretch your LB

6 Rounds:

100 single unders
200 m run
50 overhead lunges with 20 lb sandbag
50 bicycle kicks

Then my first session of cryo. I’m hooked

That's a lot of lunges!

Today:

Buy in - 1000m row or 80 cal AB

20 HSPU/10 Squat clean
16/8
12/6
8/4
4/2

We did a bunch of squat cleans and thrusters Monday. Should be lots of fun.

The chronic over counter was there today. I almost lost it when I was at 14 on round of 21, and one rep ahead and he dropped the bar and went to the rower.

Me getting pissy about it makes no sense, but damn it chaps me

I'm the same way.

There is a kid (like maybe 20) in my class that always under counts because he is obsessed with finishing first.

Monday we had to do 15 burpees each round for the WOD and the little fricker did 8 then went on to the next movement.

I want to tell him so badly that none of the soccer moms are going to frick him because he finishes first

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe he simply cannot count?

Why do you even bother keeping count with anyone else around you? I'm usually too focused on my own count to even think about trying to keep up with someone else.

I'm not counting their reps, but I can tell when me and another person are going rep for rep if we are next to each other and if I'm on 8 of 15 and then he/she moves on, I know they didn't finish their reps.

This.

One time, it really did matter, because Mr. Wrong Counter was my WOD partner, and I would have like the extra time to rest on the rower seat.

As Salmon says below you, I dont count. But if it is deadlifts and I am rep for rep with you or slightly ahead, I 100% know for a fact that if I am on 14 then you didnt do 21.

And hey, that is cool, but dont put the little rx by your name. I admit it is petty, it does not matter, and I shouldnt notice. But I do

It is what it is. Doesn't really matter, was just curious.

I have never noticed anybody else skipping reps or whatever. I have a hard enough time keeping my own count, I really have to concentrate to not lose count There's a good chance that once I'm deep in a workout I'm the guy you're talking about because I lose count, then I have to try to think about about where I was when I lost count, but that causes me to lose count again, and it turns into a big mess. I usually opt to restart at a number that is most likely lower than i should be at. For example, if I last remember counting 45 and I know I've done at least 3-4 reps, I'll probably restart at 47 or 48.

I think everyone does that kind of thing. I know I do. This guy counts to his advantage so often that it's a joke around the gym.

I have a terrible time with 90. most of the time, I don't realize what's really going on until I hear in my head, "99". Ooops.

I have done double the reps in alternating movements before.

That’s why I break up the count. 200 I just count to 50 4 times

My morning workout was:
Box squats of two different heights.
1k m row
5 rounds of:
10 barbell thrusters
10 box jumps
10 kB swings
10 knee ups
1k m row
