Yeah, I didn't beat that. By the time Isabel rolled around I was just operating on autopilot.

I think my 95# Isabel went..

21 unbroken
Break
9

We have a nice Wod tomorrow..

2 RFT
30 deadlifts 135/95
30 push-ups
30 hang clean 135/95
30 bar facing burpees

However, I have an appointment with an ortho tomorrow to discuss a PRP injection in my knee in the am. If it happens, I’m shutting down lower body shite for a few weeks.

That was much harder than I anticipated.

I did 95lb. 17:08.

Workout of the Day
A.) 3 Sets:
1.1.1 Weighted Strict Pull Up (Heavy)
5-7 Heavy Supinated Bent Over BB Row

B.) 6 Rounds For Time:
5 Clean and Jerk (135/95)
10 Ring Push Up
15 Jumping Squats

I used 95lb for the whole deal. That means I sandbagged a bit on part A but ... Whatever.

95lb is usually on the lighter end on cleans for me so I thought this wouldn't be too bad but man the weight just felt heavy today. I need to practice c+j more, I find that I don't catch the weight on my heels enough and it makes that whole movement harder

Scaled was
95lb c+j
10 perfect push up (further scaled to banded pushups)
15 jump squats

Didn't finish. 5 rounds + 8.

Welp, I finally hurt something a bit. Something went wrong in my lower back during a power clean, and I shut it down and left immediately and went home. Going to either not do anything for a while, or maybe some light bike stuff and whatever upper body things I can do that do not involve those muscles firing.

Did you just drop the bar and straight walk out the door? I always wonder if that scenario happened what the coaches would do.

When I strained a spinal erector, I dropped the weight and told coach that I tweaked something in my lower back, they gave me some stretches to do while cooling down to see how it felt. I did that until the WOD was done, then people put my weight up for me and made sure I was ok.

If you just stormed out I guess they'd just put your weight away and wonder wtf happened

Workout of the Day

20 Alternating Rounds with a partner:

-300m Row sprint
-3 Deadlifts (225/155)
-12 Push Ups

40 min time cap

I actually enjoyed this one. The rowing became a mind battle. I know I can maintain a 1:50-1:55 pace for a long time but after a while I had to keep telling myself that I wasnt going to let the rower beat me. Kept it the whole time.

185lb DLs and banded pushups.
