After something like rowing/short jog and some active warmups..

I always try to keep my total reps when going for a 1RM to ~16; including the warmup reps

5 @ 135 (slow with pause at bottom)
4 @ 185
3 @ 225
1 @ 275
1 @ 315
1 @ 355

..and so on.

If you’re 1RM is high, skip 185 and do 4 at 225 and 3 @ 315, and start singles at 355.

I did something very close to this. I mean, almost exact. After doing 350 with coach approving depth, I kinda got behind the class on moving on to part B, so no one checked my 365. Felt good, but may not have been deep enough. May be my personal best. If not, it's damn close to my best from HS which would have been 1985 lol

Last night did another HiiBB, needed to hit chest

8 rounds-1 min rest between, everything slow and paused

Incline DB press x 8
Meadows Row on hurricane x 8
Rower-100m Sprint


3 round- 60s rest between rounds
TRX chest flyes x 8
Strict Chins x 8
Strict T2B x 8

3 rounds with BFR bands-30s rest

Bodyweight dips x failure
Lying floor DB skull crushers x failure
Band tricep push/pull down x failure plus drop set

Arms were pumped as hell.

Went early today because work has been crazy and I haven't been able to go at lunch this week.



Workout of the Day

A.) 3 Sets:

12/s Single Leg KB Swap
30”/s Star Plank

B.) 3 Sets:

2:00 Minute AMRAP

Run 1 lap
AMRAP Deadlift (135/95)

Rest 4



My lower back is still a little tight from when I pulled a muscle last week. Went with 95lb to be safe.

Running today

Heat wave might be over but it’s still fricking hot

Ran 2 miles at a decent 5K pace 8:26 mile pace

Took a 5 min break

Ran the last mile full send, not a good idea

Came out way to hot ran the first 400 at a 6:10 pace, by the time I got to 1200 meters my legs were shot

10m Contralateral Carry (OH + FR)
10 Alt KB Push Press (53/35)
10m Contralateral Carry (OH + FR)


I used 44lb KBs (20kg), partner and I got 14 rounds +1. This one hurt by the end

30 GHD sit ups

I suck at push ups. Because of Murph I never do them so I only keep getting worse and worse

Well, that was uncomfortable


I did 55lb, broke several times. Each time I broke i just wanted to take a breath but took too long. 5:45.

12 min EMOM
1 clean and press at 135lb

But I do like how the teams don’t have to come from an affiliate anymore

A good bit still wear Reebok. I’m wearing my nano 8 flexweave right now.

Which feed should I watch?

Also, we should do our own broadcast of this next year if the open feed is still available.
