Active recovery today in the 104 heat at 6pm lol

Destroyed my legs yesterday sooo I ran today

1 mile run at 7:45 rest three mins 1 mile run at 8:45, happy with the pace with how hot and dry it is and not being able to breath

Walked 800 meters to get the lactic acid out my legs then a 400 meter run right at 2 mins then walked 200 meters then 400 meter sprint back to my house at 1:43.

Any Nano 8 users here? Mine are causing a strange pain/sensation at the widest point of my left foot. Like the bones are being squeezed together. My feet may just be too wide for these.

I have the nano 7’s and I’m just not a big fan. As bad as I hate it......metcons are the best training shoe IMHO.

The Metcon Frees I have are fantastic. Just wanted to try something not Nike. Looks like it's not going to work. Maybe NoBull.

I have a pair of no bull trainers and they fit like the reebok nano 2. Im not a big fan of those either. I always revert back to my nikes.

the Metcon 5 is the way to go, flex like the frees sturdy like the 4s

dont get NoBull, tons of people say they fall apart

Pretty much straight conditioning today

10 rounds for time
5 hang cleans at 95lbs 30 double unders

5 sets on the 3 mins
5 bench press at 185lb and 5 dumbbell rows each hand at 80lbs

9 round EMOM
Round 1 10 cal row
Round 2 six hand kettle bell snatches at 45lbs
Round 3 10 pushups

Back squats for strength

Worked up to a 265x5 arse to grass. That HIBB program paid off that 265 felt like nothing on my back. I will def run through the program again in the next few months

Conditioning I did the comptrain 300, had to substitute ab mat sit ups for the GHD

10 Rounds, for time:
5 Strict Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups
10 Dumbbell Movements* (70/50#)
15 GHD Sit-ups

*Dumbbell Movements:

Rd 1: DB Push Press
Rd 2: DB Burpees
Rd 3: DB Power Cleans
Rd 4: DB Bench Press
Rd 5: DB Lunge
Rd 6: DB Front Squat
Rd 7: DB Bent Over Rows

I did day one of HIIBB kind of

I don't really consider myself a crossfitter and have no desire to really do snatches, even muscle snatches so I subbed push press for it and added the antognist.

5 rounds-3 min rest
Push press x 5
Strict neutral grip chins
90s row @~90%

3 rounds-2 min rest
Front squat x 5- ramping up in weight
KB bent over rows- 1 min max reps on each arm

Did some lateral and front raise drop sets and some tricep BFR training at the end.

Trap bar deadlift x 5 (last set is max reps)
19 Cal air bike

4 rounds
DB "21's" each arm separate
KB Farmers walk
"Gun" walk with KBs

BFR YGIG (you go I go)
150 curls with barbell

i got to 35 i think, i came out way to hot, the first min i had knocked out 10

that shite was way harder than i thought it would be and my back was already smoked from the power cleans
