Strength

5x5 arse to grass squat work 225,225,245,265,275 and threw in a 285 for 3 at the end

my leg strength after that mount on the Ryan Fischer program went through the roof. Its crazy bc the loads where never that heavy on squats, but the volume mixed with conditioning

This was pure pain

5 deadlifts at 315
10 toes to bar

i went full send on every 500m row except for my second round.

Today..

A) A bunch of warmup stuff for B
B) 5x3 Front Squat across

B) 245

Left knee is still sore, but I worked through it. I’m down a good bit I’m Squats due to the tendinitis issue, but I plan on adding a bunch of accessory work to help fix it.

Just got my new Sand bags and I need to fill them. where is the best place to by sand that will equal the weights listed on the fill bags?

A) 3 sets: Pronated S/A Rows 10-12 per side 3030 tempo, 3-5 Deficit HSPUs as slow as possible
B) 10 min AMRAP: 5 Strict Pull-ups, 10 OH plate sit-ups (45/25), 15 push-ups.

A) Messed around with the 35s and did 3 parallette HSPUs as slow as possible per set
B) 4+13 Rx

Did deads today, felt my back tighten up but ignored it and wound up pulling a muscle again. I'm trying to correct my deadlift form, I was bending at the knee too early.. well I'm overcompensating and not bending early enough, putting a strain on my back. Need to go light until I get this down.

Sucks because I was really looking forward to the B portion of the WOD, which was:

WORKOUT OF THE DAY

A.DEADLIFT 5X3 ACROSS

B.) 5 SETS:

3 HANG P. CLEAN
20 DOUBLE UNDER
REST 1 MINUTE

*PICK A WEIGHT THAT IS HEAVY FOR 3 UNBROKEN REPS*


But definitely no hang power cleans with a fricked up back
