My only suggestion is putting on something you’re confident you can power clean. Your legs will be blasted by the end.

yea ill prob work my way up to about 85% beforehand and start heavy.

ETA: didn’t realize it’s a squat clean. Will prob start lower & not get cocky after all those squats

I am pumped about this one. For me, finding a good pace on the burpees will be the biggest part of it. I've put in a ton of work on squat cleans over the last 2 months and the DB squats are manageable if you don't blow yourself out.

I feel much more confident in this one over 18.1

I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. That many burpees and squats will wreck me, but step up burpees are allowed on the scaled version at least.

I am not what you would call pumped but I am always glad to see manageable simple movements.

I will prob put a pretty moderate weight on the bar, expecting one clean attempt. Getting thru that many bar facing burpees will be tough for me when you get into the last three rounds or so.

Probably 215 on the bar with the chance to go to 235 if miraculously have time.

Just watched a guy at a box do it in lifters. I'm probably going to wear mine and just go with it. Clearing the bar with them shouldn't be a big issue. I've tested it before and it wasn't terrible. Wouldn't be bad to use that time to catch some air though if you did swap shoes

It is just cleans, though I will more than likely do a squat clean. Lately they've just felt really good when I've thrown them into my clean complexes

Was pumped about this one until I watched one of our better athletes do this. He has a 375 squat clean 1RM and was only able to hit 300 (80%1rm). My Personal best was 245 about 8 months ago, but I've been closer to 235 lately. I may start at 185/195 and go from there.
