is he? because there is nothing special about hfcs. i could drink 2 cokes a day and not gain weight so long as i made it fit my macros.

quit being a " hfcs is the debil" and "carbs make you fat" guy when neither is true.

Ehh there's some research it provides do satiety through hormone response and that it stimulates you feeling hungry.

I personally believe there could be some metabolic health consequences as well.

The "it's just calories" is true in the most fundamental way but that's an extremely simple way to look at it

while i agree and certainly quality is going to have an overall affect on body comp, people that are 50+ lbs overweight (75% of the OT) should prolly not sit here and act like the reason is hfcs. is it one of the reasons...certainly...but that huge plate of rice and gravy every night is not helping.

and the data shows fat is much easier to store as body fat compared to carbs.

I don’t disagree. But a simple approach of reduced calories would likely help a vast majority of people.
