I've tried most of them. The middle option on Dollar Shave Club is decent, haven't tried the cheaper or pricier version. Just looked it up, and I don't think they sell the cheaper version anymore, either a 4 or 6 blade razor. Mine was the 4 blade one, and I think I had it set to send me a 4 pack of refills every other month.
I didn't like Harry's. The blades were too close together and clogged easily. I'm also not shaving my face every day as I've had a beard for years, but cleaning up my neck and cheeks, it tended to pull hairs rather than give a smooth shave. My dad uses them though and he shaves every weekday and said they're good for that, but he did notice it pulling when he went to shave on Monday mornings after letting it go a few days over the weekend.
I've gone back to using a Mach 3. Blades are farther apart, and it is much quicker to clean up my neck a couple times a week with that. My wife did like the Dollar Shave Club one I had and used it on her legs until she discovered some lady razor mail order option she loves.

Thanks.
I was looking for a 2 blade system. I realize now neither of them offer that

Don’t think so. Just like the Gillette Trac II

I've been screwed by counterfeits on Amazon too. I use Bullgoose shaving for my safety razor supplies.

Dorco razors are the absolute best value out there.

I been using Harry’s for a few months and really like them
Very sharp razors, nice handle, quality product. Always reliable mail orders.
I never have to go to the store to buy razors which I hated doing.
No complaints whatsoever.

None of those. Buy a Merkur Safety razor and then buy sleeves of Feather or Astra blades on ebay and a tube of Proraso shaving cream. Change out your blade at least 2x a week which should be very easy since they are dirt cheap.

I'll follow this thread because shaving your head.... that burns thru some razors.

Dollar Tree double bladed Assured razors after the steam room are by far the best shave I get, cheap things last one use but totally worth it

Went with Harry's brand. Was in Costco's and they had a kit w/13 refills.

I took advantage of Harry's courtesy of a sports radio trial offer. I agree in that the blades are close together and seemed to get clogged easy, leading to more frequent replacement than other brands.
I've actually liked the Amazon Essential razor and blades better that I got after my girlfriend told me about a deal of the day offer.

This. Buy a Merkur Futur with the matte finish (better grip). I prefer the Gillette green 7 O clock blades. But Astra, Feather, Voskhod, and Gillette Blue's are also winners. Start with the setting at one and watch some geofatboy YouTube videos.
