You guys inspired me to place a few orders over Black Friday, too. Waiting on things to be delivered, but got my horse stall mats installed in my basement. I can't wait for the rest of the gear to get here and get back on the GSLP

Anyone have a req for a good pull-up bar? My basement ceilings are only 7' so no good rack options from Rogue. I guess my house is weird, but none of the doors where I could get away with putting this have the proper clearance to the ceiling for a mount like that. Guess I'm looking for something that can be mounted to a wall not over a door frame?

Well boys...got it good enough where I can workout and it's getting close. Got a bunch of organization and storage stuff left and getting things hung up....but pleased with the way things are coming along.

Damn son! That looks absolutely legit. I’m jealous of the space you have. I’m guessing you built the house with the gym in mind?

I thought you were going to connect the hurricane to your squat rack for some reason?

Also, is that an old school Sorinex lat pull down I see?

Yea we built a porte a cache with the object of the other side being the gym. It's 21x17. Little smaller than 2 bays in. 3 car garage I had before but no cars parking in there either so makes a big difference on wall space.

I had originally planned to connect the power rack and hurricane but do not have enough room. I figured out pretty quickly once I moved the rack to one wide I didn't really have room to get around to load the bar. So had to scratch it.

And yes that is old school sorinex pulldown. Been having it about 5 years now. 300 lbs stack. I need to clean it and then I'm going to get a surplus strength attachment and anchor it to the floor for rows.

I want to get an attachment wall up, get 2 rep uprights and slowly add the rogue single point shelves and get all my KBs, med balls etc off the ground. Also need to get hangers up for bands, belts and also barbells up off the ground.

Also rings and some other items hung.

looks incredible man.

Here's the beginning of mine. Long way to go. Tucked in the corner of a 2 car garage.

Got 4 lifts in last week. That's 2 more than all of 2021 for me. Self confidence already on the way up.

Here’s my current setup. We moved in July. With the cross country move I got rid of the FreeMotion Dual Cable Cross. Would have been a pain in the arse to move. It was too commercial looking anyway. Will be adding more this year but space is an issue now. This is an old picture. I actually have the dip board on the wall too.

Fun fact, those are a couple of uncoated Sorinex kettlebells on the floor.

Just hit a PR on squat that also coincides with me using every plate I have. In the market for adding some plates to the collection. What's the best option to look for here? I have 260 lbs of bumper plates plus a few change plates and I want to go steel for everything else. I'd love to just add 25kg/55lb calibrated plates because I like the look and space savings on the bar, but seems like a bit of a waste of money. I know something like the rogue deep dish is a nice plate, but using them in conjunction with the bumper plates I already have takes up a ton of space on the bar.

Also, any quality plate carriers that don't break the bank?

Looks awesome. What is that storage system you have on the wall there? Did you install it?

lazy....they are called slat boards LINK

for those KBs, if you want to just get them off the ground, they make the coated hooks for the slat boards that screw in. the KBs just hang from the handle

honestly...best bet is just going rogue. Gonna be one of the only ones in usually in stock and are a decent price. rep equalizers are pretty good.

if you are in houston though, check out troy barbell and getrxd and fringe. Fringe is in austin but other 2 are in houston. Troy has nice plates that you can save on shipping by picking up there in houston.

Got the rack installed today. Gonna finish building my dumbbell set up to 70 probably. Then need to get some storage racks for the plates and dumbbells

Nice!

Glad everyone is starting to post their set ups.

Wishing I would've ordered more bumper plates instead of waiting until I need them. My neighbor is a bit stronger than I am.

Man this is such a blessing. I’ve never enjoyed working out so much. Home gym and working from home is the key.

Any of y’all have a quad/hamstring unit? This is the one piece that I really want and miss from going to a conventional gym.
