That would be cool to have. There are a couple of body building machines like that, that would be awesome but I don’t have the room for them. Plus they aren’t cheap.

Titan has this that you can do both on and just add plates to it. Definitely the most affordable. But having a machine would be sweet!

I want to say Coop just reviewed one a few weeks back that looked nice.

I’m going to scroll through and try to find it. Searching didn’t help.
Found it.

I've got a bit more than basic home gym set up at my place and it consists of the following:
Roughly 1000 lbs. of Olympic weights with the bulk of them in the 45, 35, 25 lb. range with several 10 and 5 lb. plates.
A dumbell tower from 5 to 35 lbs.----started that low so the wife would use them too------she's never picked them up.
2 benches with one only doing bench presses and incline presses. The other the same plus leg and preacher curl attachment.
2 Olympic barbells, 2 curl bars to make doing curls less stressful on the wrists. Dumbell bars so I can get higher than 35 lbs. if I want to.
I do have a cable machine that allows me to do tricep extensions, cable rows and any other exercise my mind can come up with.
An elliptical for cardio---bought for the wife that was also never used by her, and I really don't like the damn thing myself.
An apparatus for doing crunches, hyperextensions, etc. that supports the back and a place to clip in the feet for stablitly.
Out back under the back porch I have a 100 lb. heavy bag and a speed bag set up along with gloves to use them.

personally I would rather use bands, the henny attachement and a open box jump platform
or
make a rack mounted unit. But space is a premium for me.

Titan fitness is the best quality to price that I know of, or at least have experience with. I have their Blues barbell, squat rack, and flat bench. They're coming out with new pieces and accessories all the time. Good quality that I see and very affordable. Just not all their stuff is made in the US, for obvious reason (price).
Titan Fitness
Oh and if you meant what pieces generally, not equipment brands, it depends on: space, goals, and budget. But remember compound movements over specialized pieces of equipment while you start. A rack, barbell, and weights let you do the most of what you need.
