Bacne causes

I have been getting some bad bacne for a while and my dermatologist cannot figure it out. I feel like it has something to do with when I workout b/c when I was out of the country for a week and didn't workout it cleared up. But I also was not eating processed american foods, no preworkout, and no protein powder in addition to no working out. I was still sweating b/c I was in south america.
Anyone found out that their preworkout or protein powder is causing breakouts? I was reading some articles about whey protein being the possible culprit.

it would not be a smart thing to drop whey because you have some breakouts. I've taken copious amounts my entire life and never had a bacne issue.
when I workout every single day I get a few pimples on the shoulders/back as well

black soapI had same issue. Working out in cotton shirts or sweatshirts and leaving them on too long after workouts. I got some raw African black soap and shite cleared up instantly. Cut a piece off this block and form into a bar. This will last you a long time. It's pretty amazing shite

Will give that soap a try but i've used like 4 different ones recommended by my dermatologist and an after shower mist. Still wont clear up. It's gotta be something else.
Changed my detergent. Soaked my workout clothes in vinegar. etc etc.

Drop the whey and see if it clears up. Replace the lost protein with a food source. If you’re a millionaire I suggest beef jerky.

Sad you’re listening to the death shot pusher instead of your friends on the internet thatre trying to help thatre more than likely experts. Doctors don’t even go to the gym
I bought a block of the Africa soap btw. I’m committing literal blacksoap

Not to presume but when is the last time you washed your sheets and what kind of detergent?

My issue was almost identical. It's called Acne Mechanica. Get moisture-wicking workout tops. Remove them immediately after workout and use the soap I linked. Would be shocked if didn't clear up. It likely cleared up when not working out because it is not solely the sweating but rather the friction of the sweaty clothes while working out

I ordered a block after reading this. 3rd day using it and my back/chest are noticeably clearing up. It looks like a turd sitting in the shower so that's fun.

Glad to hear it. Forgot to mention how fast it works. I started seeing results about day 3 myself. Use on the face as well. Face will be dry first couple times but seemed to adapt well

I also struggled with back acne. I looked into acne treatments and discovered that whey protein could be the issue. I was hesitant to stop using whey protein, but I was desperate to eliminate my acne. After 6–8 months of not using whey protein, the acne was gone for good.

I used to have this problem and i just change my shirts throughout the day now and shower twice a day.
Every once in a while, i may get a random big one thats usually more of an ingrown hair.
But thats because the pore is clogged with dirt and oil trying to push that back hair through.
Also could be not traditional acne but fungus causing it. And some ingredients in products make it worse.
Maybe why that natural soap works so well for those guys. But i currently use nutrogena body clear.
this is what the fungus one is called...Malassezia Folliculitis. And if this is what you have, those benzol soap bars wont work.

yes, black soap is known for both anti-fungal/and bacterial properties
