I tried Keto before I just went with plain caloric deficit and fasting until noon. Keto is a true diet meaning you have to look at every label and watch every little thing you eat. Go out to a restaurant or out at lunch and trying to figure out where to eat and what you can eat is a giant PITA to me. Caloric deficit is so much easier to build a healthy lifestyle around. At least in my opinion. A world I can't grab a banana, apple, or orange as a quick snack or I can't throw down a cookie or a little ice cream at the end of the day if I've eaten wisely all day isn't a world for me.

I just count calories. Seems to work fine.

Don’t eat until 11:30-2 each day. Wrap up my calories by 8-9 each night.
Espresso and water only

If I could I would do 6 hour eating windows a day, but my body doesn't seem to want to acclimate to that without feeling weak and nauseous.
The 18 hour mark of fasting is one of the worst. If you can push through it, you can usually make it through to the next day.
Since you’re not going for that, don’t fight it. An 8hour window will work fine. Congrats on the weight loss. You’ve obviously found what works best for your body.

Eat cheese and almonds if you get a craving in the morning. Try and eat this later and later each day until your eventually at lunch time.
Eat an apple by itself will make you feel hungrier after about 30mins due to the carbs and sugar.

I downed three 14 inch NY style pizzas in one sitting last week.

Every day. First calories are around 2pm. I'm usually passed out by 10 so easy to stick w 16-8. I've tried to push the window earlier but just can't. If i can get back into serious training then will.

I fast from 6 pm to 1 pm the next day. Lunch at 1, dinner at 5:30. And I do keto. You’re prob not feeling well because your electrolytes are off. Try some chicken broth or just 1/2 tsp of salt in water. It’ll help, I promise. An apple is healthy of course but it’s going to make you more hungry and defeats the purpose of IF and keto. On the weekends I’m looser with the fasting and have a little higher carbs but still keto if I can. That makes it sustainable for me. Check out the keto sub on Reddit for more tips.

I am probably leaner than most people here. I use cheat meals as a tool, not a reward
