I know there are pros and cons to it. Definitely don’t want to hinder grip strength but the possibility of maximizing back strength/growth is definitely intriguing.

I do. I bought some Swissies. Got both the straight set and some angled. I like the straight set better. Much easier on my wrists.

I probably use them about half the time when doing pullups.

I do some, they work great. In all honesty, if you are doing a full workout regiment throughout the week, you are probably getting plenty of grip work between everything else. Personally I think back work is one of the more difficult things for me to work without using a lot of other things to help out, so I appreciate the ability to isolate a little more.

Also, no reason for it to be an all or nothing thing. Use them one week on and one week off. Your grip stringth won't really be impacted.

I use lifting straps occasionally. I'm all for grip strength, but if my grip is a limiting factor then I will use the straps.

I use them for shrugs so I can do 100’s

Then with farmers walk so I can carry two plates for twice the time without taking a break

I’ve never used wraps, straps, hooks, etc and it’s probably why my forearms are bigger than most people’s biceps even today at 46 and natty.

I do use them, but I also suffer from carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome in both arms.
