Any advice for a tired sleeper?

My wife has been having issues during the last year with sleeping. She typically has been sleeping a solid 7-8 hours each night, but she is waking up exhausted. She has never had issues in the morning, so we have tried a few things so far, but she is still waking up feeling like she has not slept enough. The tiredness stays with her throughout her work day, so when she gets home and we get the kids to bed, she is usually completely exhausted:
1. We changed our mattress to a firmer mattress because she was having back pain (she is only 110 lbs, but I thought our sagging mattress could have have contributed to it).
2. She changed her pillow to a more comfortable pillow.
3. We keep our room cooler
4. She typically spends her last hour awake trying to relax. Limited screen time.
5. To my knowledge, she is not a snorer. I am, but not enough that my snoring is keeping her up at night.
6. She had previously used a fitbit to track her REM cycles, but they didn't show anything out of the ordinary.
I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on either sleep aid devises or any strategies that work for them. She does seem to have sinus problems if she sleeps flat, so it could possibly be something with that. Just trying to help her get some refreshing sleep.

Has she seen her doctor and had bloodwork done? I'm not a doctor, but this sounds like a classic case of anemia.

Try keto out for a couple weeks. Should clear this up.

All BS aside, this is what worked for me. Also, adding in more exercise. With the KETO came eating more red meat which would clear up any anemia.

This sounds exactly like me
But I got 4.98 M/uL which is in the normal range for red blood count

The funny thing is she works out all the time and eats healthy, and has trouble sleeping. I work out rarely and don't have a great diet and sleep wonderfully.

Some people just don;t need as much sleep. She should try listing out all of the stressers in her life. Then, do the old circle of control exercise. I find this helps me a lot when sleep becomes an issue.

Sounds like sleep disordered breathing.
Might want to talk to PCP about ordering a sleep study to see if she may have apnea.

What time does she work out?

That can be a cause. I always got crap sleep if I worked out past 5pm.

Get a Beddr. It's a sleep tracking device. Basically an oximeter that measures your heart rate, oxygen saturation, sleep position, and stopped breathing events.
Sounds a lot like sleep apnea especially with the sinus issues. Beddr costs ~ $150, but check with your health insurance as a lot of plans fully cover at home sleep studies.

Could be hormonal. I went through something similar. I’m not an advocate at all for hormone supplements and refused to take them. I just dealt with it until one day it was no longer an issue. I did start a more regular exercise routine; cut out all soft drinks; increased my daily water intake; adjusted my diet to eat less carbs/sugar; eat more protein and vegetables and limited caffeine. Gradually, over time, it seemed to fade away.

She should stop all caffeine and get some blue blockers.
I’ve just got back from a healthcare conference with a bunch of CBD samples. I’ve been sleeping like a baby.
I also corrected fatigue using NMN, which I predict will be the supplement of this decade.

How much caffeine and at what time of day. I sleep noticeably worse if I have an afternoon cup of coffee.
