Yeah tomorrow we'll have to be a workout at the gym at lunch day. They have a set of 88 lb kettlebells that I love doing my farmers with. Until I upgrade the home gym, I don't have a lot of options. I only have the Bowflex dumbbells, I have to go to the crunch to get the heavy ones

I’m in the same boat. I used 50s today and upped the distance to 75 yds. Got a good burn.

Knew something was coming since we’ve been eased into the week. Wrapped up Day 7 and got through it pretty quickly like yesterday. Slowed down on the farmer’s carry since I’m capped at 75lbs for DBs. I’ll bump up my bench tm max and let’s do it tomorrow.

Knocked out the workout this morning in about 50 minutes.

I got up the 100% squat, but it took some struggle. Did not attempt the 102.5

I also only got 4 on the last set of bench, but I'm not lowering my training max.

I added in some pushups as a superset with the KB swings.

Hopefully tomorrow models big pump Friday with squats instead of upper. Lots of reps, lower weight would be a good Friday.

My guess is either that or the first baseline pressure cooker

This morning was fun!

I dropped my squat "max" from 315 to 275 because of a little bit of sciatic discomfort I have been experiencing. Hit 290 for the 105% and could tell I had a lot more left in the tank.

I have been having to do light bench on a chest press machine lately due to an AC joint issue caused from heavy bench press.

Man, do I miss getting under the bar for heavy bench days. Hopefully sometime soon I can get back after it.

Got 105%. Felt like 100% moved pretty well. I did 20 days of prequel in September and never messed with the 1R training max I was using as I don't like to advance deadlift of squat quickly because of a repaired acl from 13 years ago. So I'm bumping the training max for the rest of the program.

Anybody else else’s rear delts sore as hell this morning? Feeling them just holding the bar for squats.

I don’t remember doing anything that should have hit them hard.

Got this done in about an hour with warmups. Got 105% with a little hitch but felt good and will be bumping up my training max. Feeling like a strong start to Squatober ordering my shirt this weekend.

I started PT for my meniscus in my right knee a few weeks ago when I was starting the Prequel, and it's made a big difference in managing both heavy and high rep attempts.

Got 105% but it was a struggle. 102.5 moved pretty smooth so upping max to that.

Great pump today. Took me right at an hour using the suggested rest.

Heart rate stayed high today, above 125 pretty much the whole time.

Traveling to NYC this weekend so getting my steps in should be no problem. Gonna sub out extra meaty chili for extra size of pizza

I've also started doing shrugs while doing my bumper plate pinch holds. Why not hit two muscle groups at the same time instead of just a static hold?

I was excited to actually test max since haven't done much squatting lately before this
However, also haven't done deadlifts in a while so the spinal erectors were sore from prior day and I wasn't feeling 100% on the heavier singles
Glad it checked my status for the rest to come

Jose has been busy AF with work and kids, he isnt on the board nearly as much because of that. prolly just dont have the time

im in the middle of my cut...dont think squatober would have worked for me

ill say one thing...getting older sucks

you can be true 14-15% bodyfat on a dexascan and the arms look like 9-10%, shoulder look 10%.....legs look good, but then the love handles and lower ab fat over here looking like 20%+ just frowning at me in the mirror

time is a bitch

Hell of a job fellas. I would love to get back into it next year. (Don’t give a shite if Chicago Marathon is in the middle of it)
