Hangover was rough today. I did the cardio while wife was squatting (4x25 pushdowns/hammer curls/db shrugs) and it was a horrible no good idea for the rest of the workout lol

Since pneumonia wrecked it for me, I've decided to start over tomorrow and run Squatober again.

2 days behind since a cold from hell hit me and the family this week.
Just did the PRs
Hit 345 on squat but knew that I wasn't getting more
I am very happy with that. For the last 10+ years 210-205 had been my 'lean weight.' I am sitting at 193 this morning and feeling great. So to hit 345 at sub 195, feels like a victory for me

I've never bothered to figure out how to post pictures, but look at the sorinex_benchuary IG page. I think its safe to assume this will be a February plan.

Hangover was legit as hell took almost 80 minutes
Definitely saving that for the future

Maybe it would be January?
But I doubt they do back to back 5 day a week plans so agree it’s for February.

Profile pic is squatober jack-o-lantern standing behind/embracing deadcember yeti in the typical high-school prom picture. I was assuming it was to make fun of valentine's day.

Yeah. I assume February. Taking a month off between Squatober and Deadcember then another month off before benchuary

I dont think an every day deadlift program is going to require a month off before benching a lot :D

I gotta be honest. One month a year of squatting every day can be fun. But a month of squatting every day, a month of deadlifting every day, and then a month of bench pressing every day is too far. Factor in the months between and you're spending half the year doing less than ideal training methods

I kind of agree. I like Squatober, but it leaves plenty of gaps on overall training.
I'm not a big fan of Deadcember. I'm not a big fan of deadlifting to be honest. I grudginly do it.
I've done Benchamin Franklin 2 and liked it. I'll wait until we know a little more about Benchuary before I'll decide to do it or not.
Honestly, I'm thinking about running the boring simple 5x5 for about 90 days in 2025.

I’ve been doing BF2 and missing the squats from last month. Decided to hit one of the 70’s big squat days yesterday.
12 sets of squats got me all of the squat fix I needed for this week

If anyone is looking for a pretty balanced ppsa plan I like Silverback.
It's squat/bench/ohp days 1&3 and dead/chin/pullover/rows days 2&4
Good carries mixed in there on cardio also.
If it's light on anything it's arms but I'm not feeling underworked any there.

been meaning to bump this thread.
after squatober I needed a deload week, did an upper / lower split I did before starting ppsa programs in the spring just didn't push myself or go to heavy on anything. Got board with it and started up Arm Farm this week, have a bit of travel at end of month so will do as much of it as I can and regroup in December for next PPSA adventure.
