You don't need flies nor incline to grow.
We will very much agree to disagree on that one.
And I know, it’s great for squat growth. It helped me a ton last year I really liked it. Or liked the results, at least. But it really puts some muscle groups at a deficit so I’ve got to supplement while running it which makes it a bit tougher. I’m probably gonna do it again though.

Do you think 1 month of not doing flyers and incline is gonna cause you to lose muscle?
And you don't need those bro, go look at the results people are getting from ppsa programs, none really have incline or flyes, I mean those are fine exercises but no exercise is absolute. You are already hitting the chest with bench, dips and pushups throughout.
And I can promise, you aren't putting those muscles kn a deficit by focusing on squatting for a month.

For me, yes. Upper chest development is one of my biggest deficits. Focusing on it has increased my overall bench and has improved my physique. Tough to pause that progress mid bulk season.
Looking back over things though, the shoulder volume is pretty good with his “cardio” work included. Subbing flat bench for incline will work too. Back is just not enough. Gotta get those rows in to get thick.

I haven't done squatober but have them, but in the other programs, he usually programs the hell out of rows.
Sub incline for bench like you said if that's an issue.
Also you might want to look at so.e of his bench programs for Nov and Dec and sub incline for incline, I think you would be happy as there is lots of frequency and volume.

That could be a fun stretch.
Could do squatober, one of his bench programs in November, then deadcember. Then I’ll go for a new high total to start the year!

That's what I would do or if upper body is the goal may need to add volume during deadcemeber

I'm gonna say I'm in this year. I've been aware of the program for a couple years but found reasons not to do it. Legs are feeling about as good as they ever have so I'm gonna see just how strong I can get.

I'm finally going to order my wall mount rack this weekend. What all equipment do I need for Squatober? I have a good bench, barbell, and plates and DBs from 5-50 lbs. That should be enough, right?

You’ll probably want some bands for the accessory (conditioning) work.

Should be good to go. Maybe buy a cheap second barbell like an axle bar or just one on marketplace. Makes things easier with supersets and setting up for the next thing.

Bands and if you want to go ahead and add to overall ability get gymnastics rings. But really what you have and the rack will be plenty of squatober.
