5 days in....this program seems a little too taxing on the CNS, or am I being a little bitch?

Day 5 was a bitch. The squat, deadlift, rdl combo got me shaking. Then add all that volume in the cardio section destroyed me. Hopefully tomorrow is a little less, but this is what we signed up for.

no squatober is hard. Lighten the max. use a 85% training max to calculate the load. Eat big, recommend a minimum of 1 lbs of beef and 8 eggs a day. Sleep 10 hours a night if at all possible.

Cut out other things and make it your focus. Its only 30 days to get a new PR.

suppose to go light and just focus on mind muscle connection on that rdl combo. But yea all his programs destroy me.

The DB program is way harder than people think. hard as hell.

Going to knock out Day 5 in a couple of hours.

Yes, your CNS will be fried at the end of the month. Switch to a new program and have some fun.

Found today to be an “easier” day but the cardio at the end had my forearms and biceps on fire.

Tomorrow looks fun! I work up to those 9 rep ranges in squats already, but if you typically don’t it’ll be a bitch for some.

30 hammer curls were they expecting me to do body weight on those?? Crazy.

Also, I won’t make the last step for sure. I might could hit 9 reps at 75% on my first set after a good warm up on a great day. No way after 4 sets.

I did 20lbs ea. Looking back, 15 lbs would have been wiser after the bent over rows. I was crushed. (Maybe even 10lbs)

I did 85lbs for bent over rows because it said to keep it light. Actually felt that was the right weight even though I felt like a puss for going so light.

Day 6 down. Sets of 9 were tough but knocked them out. Farmers walks also sucked because my forearms were still fried from yesterday.

i wanted to do this... but totally jacked my shoulder and decided to take a couple of weeks off to hopefully let it heal. i'm saving all of the workouts and going to do it, just a couple of weeks behind.

Day 7 looks the most reasonable so far.

i mean day 6 was only a max of 6 sets on squats, 6 on bench and then farmers walk. nothing crazy at all.

That’s fair. I’m coming from nSuns where high reps (>5) is rare lol.

Prepare thyself for Friday! It’s probably going to be about 10 sets for 70+ reps on squat.

The workouts today and tomorrow are pretty low volume so I bet he’s going ramp it up on Friday right before the rest days.
