Day one was tough. All big compound movements and quite a long workout. (But I also add 15-20 mins for a quick jump rope and mobility routine)

I tried today but failed. On my first rep of my first warmup I could barely come out of the hole…
I’m going to try to do tomorrow’s workout and then make this one up on Saturday.

honestly best cure i have found is actually just do the exercise that caused it

Crushed day four. Felt good. Looking forward to day 5. His rest periods are a little longer than what I’m use to. Makes these workouts longer. I really don’t want to start any earlier than 6:00am but may have to.
Eta: I like how he is prescribing the rest for the entire workout now. Last year there were times where I was unsure what the rest should be, especially with regards to “cardio”.

I think I may over-produce lactic acid or something. Even when I consistently squat heavy 1-2x a week I’ll be sore for 4 days before I can tie my shoes like a normal person. I’ve heard ice baths and cold showers but I only have access to the latter and it doesn’t appear to help anything but my gas bill.

how is sleep and your eating? got to sleep and eat thick to avoid the overbearing doms and to recovery on a program like this.

Sleep is okay, 7-8 hours/night. Eating could be cleaner but I usually get 150-200 grams of protein.
