8 hours into my first 48 hour fast... (update 30 hours in)

The great Thomas DeLeaur has prepped me for this via YouTube and about 4 to 5 months of regular IF, but I think I'm finally ready for the big one.
Really looking forward to the mental clarity that I've heard so much about and interested to see if I feel great regarding testosterone and anti-aging factors as well.
Longest fast I've ever done was 30 hours, and I was in the GROOVE but had to break it due to friend obligations.
Really hoping I get multiple grooves and my hunger pangs aren't too bad.
Teed it up with a tablespoon of coconut oil and some great olive oil at 2AM Pacific time as my last calories for several days (I hope).
Any wellwishes and tips are greatly appreciated. Got the black coffee and matcha green tea all ready to brew for my moments of weakness and I'll lean on adderall this first day as well.
I was originally going to shoot for 72 hours, but realized we have a Christmas Eve dinner I can't get out of

Thomas Deleauer's videos got me interested in IF and it's been awesome. IDGAF about his lifting and what he may or may not take. I'm not KETO unless it's a byproduct of my IF a few times per week.
His videos for 48-72 hour fasting have me pumped AF to try.
He's like Joel Osteen in a way - I understand the criticism, but what people criticize about him doesn't detract from the good advice and valuable material I get from him.

He’s 100% bro science. He also eats carbs, but acts like he doesn’t. The dude’s a fraud. It’s like saying Keto Connect those two idiots are keto gurus. Or Goody Beats that dude is the biggest fraud there is. No their content is for entertainment value not to be taken seriously in a scientific way.

How to Slow Aging (and even reverse it)
Fasting, cold, and restrict amino acids. Apparently studies done on mice and monkeys.

My tip: Don't eat for 48 hrs.
My wellwishes: Don't be a pussy. If you can't complete a 48, then you should give up on life.

You learn a lot about your own will and self control. My clarity came after hour 30 or so. Razor freaking sharp thinking though. If they made a drug that made you feel like that, all other drugs would not be needed. Good luck.

Thanks mates - feeling hungry bc I got caught up in work emergency and forgot to drink water for 3 hours. Sucks - laying down for a nap and hoping I wake up feeling good

Why does any rational human being do this AT CHRISTMAS?
Geez.

48 hour fast is a joke , intermittent fasting and a low key workout plan is all you need. Unless you have shitty genes witch you most likely do

Yeah you're hungry because you didn't drink water..
Not because you're not eating..
Nope..
Couldn't be that

Update for my good mates here on HFB. 30 hours in and I feel good. Very little "hungah" this morning as my friend back in Metry John the Yat would say.
Mind is clear and I'm going outside to clean soggy and freezing pine needles "out da guttah".

the first 72 hours are supposed to be the hardest for fasting, so congrats on your journey!
