Most pros/teachers recommend it. I usually play whatever I find (live on course) or is on sale. I am starting to take it more seriously and looking to improve in any way possible.

To those playing a single ball, what are you playing? What is your swing speed and 7 iron distance?

Yes. Bridgestone TourB X.

Controlled driver is about 107-110. 7 iron about 175.

I’ve been playing the Titleist Toursoft (White). I kinda have been bouncing around between the Toursoft and the ProV1x. Played the Toursoft while I sucked, now as I’m getting better I’m thinking about the ProV1x being my go to ball.

I hit my 7i 163 on average. I don’t pay attention to swing speed. I play my game and don’t need extra numbers floating around my head.

Srixon Z star, but I think my local wal mart stockers have fricked something up because they're $24 per dozen. If they get that fixed I'll probably switch back to Callaway Supersoft

No idea on swing speed. Good contact on my 7 iron carries about 170

I switched to the TP5X from the Prov1X. Didn’t notice a real change with my driver but I noticed much higher ball flight with irons and I gained about 5-7 yards per iron. I notice it especially with my shorter irons that I’m hitting one less club from about 170 and in. Definitely feels much softer off the putter face as well

Driver 111-114
7 iron 172

have gone round and round and landed on ProV1x. Dabbled with ProV, AVX both TP5 and some bridgestone and the PV1X just seems to be the best and most consistent for me.

Now that I'm not losing balls, it's worth it buying the best balls out there to me.

That being said, if I HAVE to go bargain, TM Type a.

110 driver speed and 175 7 iron.

Here’s my advice for you, believe what ell is telling you with his SS and distance, The other guys are giving you their distance if they swing as hard as they possibly can. These super average golfers aren’t hitting seven irons 175 with consistency I promise, at least not accurately, unless they were talking about the 20 yards of roll out they get because they cant spin the ball.

I dk what my swing speed is, 7 iron carry is ~160. I’m a 7 handicap and don’t really play a specific ball. I’ve been playing ProV1’s recently and I think they have too much spin for me. While i love being able to stick all my iron shots and back spin wedges, I’m actually considering hitting a cheaper ball like a pinnacle or a TM because those things don’t spin much so they go straighter for me off the tee

Damn bro your swing speed average is faster than Brooks Koepkas and you hit your 7 iron further than Rory McilRoy averages

I’ll make one point about the distances based on a numbered iron... My 7 iron is 33°. The Callaway Mavrik 7i is 27°.
