QUESTION: If you found an unusual putter, but it was lights out. You make everything with it. Would you put it in your bag?
Being part of a review process, I have seen more "unusual" equipment than I thought I every would. Putters have to be the most unusual.
Every time I get one of these, I always ask myself, "yes, it works, but would I actually put it in my bag?"
Usually the answer is "no."
How about you?

I can relate.
I'm guessing some people will have the attitude that, no matter how much they struggle, Scotty Cameron (or other name putter) is the bomb, and it stays in my bag.

Yes, it had a very positive review.?
What do you think about the bottom middle (Vector putter)?
Brave enough to try the IceBlock (bottom right)?

who wouldn't?

You would be a clown not to play something that is money from everywhere because it looks funny.

You'd be surprised by the comments on the website. Yes, to some people, aesthetics seem to be more important than results. Also, a brand seems to carry a lot of weight. Maybe too much.

I’d putt with a spoon if it made me a world class putter

To be honest, yes. But, Putting is mainly about confidence though and if you don’t like the look and feel of it in your hands then i doubt you’ll be confident. I’d personally putt with a large petrified elephant dick if i made more putts.

I would, but I know plenty of golfers who own clubs because they look cool

I putted with a Scotty for years for this reason. Putting was off earlier this year. Went back to Never Compromise that’s worth about $25 now and putting better than I have in years (confidence has a lot to do with it). Scotty went on EBay and sold for more than I paid for it years ago. Brand name or not, I the one I putt better with in the bag now.

The lab putter is great. Just expensive.

And I would have a mental hurdle putting with a satellite dish.

I would use any of those but maybe not the ice block

I think having something that is aesthetically pleasing on the eye builds confidence as well...

Matt gave it a great review. He's a SWAG man, so the L.A.B. would not replace his gamer.
I'm a mental midget, I have to have a putter that is pleasing to the eye.

The Blue Bettenardi is a great putter.

Thinking about a center shafted one.

I play with a Scotty, but I'll still contend Bettinardi makes the best milled faces. I just can't get over the look of their Inovai mallets

I would love to try the ice block if you are serious.

I was putting with my dads Ping Redwood Anser when I started playing golf, then I moved to the Odyssey White Hot 5 for a couple years when he wanted it back. I could never put for shite.

Last year I picked up the Stroke Lab 7S with a super stroke grip and I became the best putter in my group by far. I used to be nervous about 3 footers, now Im mad if I miss a 10 footer

So pretty much I would say buy anything that works for for you. Even if you are playing bad you can atleast have one part of your game you are happy about
