A buddy has 2 tickets each for the practice days. Can only go to one. Is there a better day than another?

Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday?

Typically Tuesday, but with no Par 3 Tournament, it might make Wednesday more attractive now for seeing the rest of the course.

I would have said Wednesday, so you can see the par 3.

Has he been before?

Most will play the course Tuesday. Wednesday is usually a lighter practice day so some players may not play all 18. I went on a Tuesday and it was awesome.

My buddy is fortunate enough work the Masters for the past 10-15 years. He has extra practice tickets this year. He was told no par 3 tournament this year.
Was thinking Tuesday also, but makes getting days off funky.

Monday is easier for me. Travel on Saturday. Play golf on Sunday and go to course early Monday. Plenty of great players on Monday and some older players. Travel back on Tuesday and back in time to watch Thursday.

I’ve been to Monday and it’s nice because players are super laid back. But I don’t have anything to compare it to. I’m sure whatever day will be awesome

Tuesday by far

Monday a lot of pros are just getting there and will only putt and hit balls if anything

Tuesday they all play including some past champs who are not in tourney

Wednesday course closes at Noon for Par 3.

It really depends what you want to see. If you want to see the course Monday is your day. A few less pros are there but enough that will be fun. Tuesday you get the course and all the pros so it’s nice. If there is no Wednesday par 3 then that Should be a little busier similar to Tuesday. The times I’ve gone I love Monday because I like photographing the course

Ive only gone on Wednesday, so I can’t compare, but we got there before the gates opened and spent the whole AM on the big course and behind the clubhouse, etc. then we found a great spot to post up for the Par 3 contest where we could see 4 holes, they players had to walk in a really narrow space right by us, and we had concessions and restrooms right behind us. It’s was a really magical day. Was the second to last time Arnie played the Par 3 and he looked right at me and gave a thumbs up. Wouldn’t trade that for anything.

Sorry for the downvote. Meant to hit the upvote and missed. Kinda like my chipping.
Wish they had the par 3 this year. It would be a no-brainer.

I've been on both a Monday and a Wednesday. Wednesday gets the nod for me. Was able to walk the whole course in the morning, then watch the par 3. As awesome as all of that was, after the par 3 was over and we were heading out (we parked at the gates behind 13 green/14 tee), we were able to basically be alone on some holes. We walked around several holes and only saw a handful of other people. It was pretty surreal.

If you have an option in a normal year, Wednesday is the best by far. Par 3 tourney is great to get a taste of the crowd reactions from made putts and great shots.

Do you have a press pass? I thought phones were not allowed on-sight at all. Are they allowed on practice days? That would be cool.

Cameras are only allowed during practice days I believe. Phones are never allowed.
