Those of you that got new clubs recently, how long did you have to wait?

Got fitted for and ordered Taylormade P770s on February 11 of this year through David Toms Academy. Just got off the phone with them, they pushed the ship date back again to 8/26. I'm almost just tempted to say screw it and just buy a set off one of the websites. I was told when they moved the date back the first time that it was because they are having trouble getting lefty club heads in right now. Now, I have no clue what the hold up is. 6 months is a damn long time. This is ridiculous. Are all the other brands out there taking this long as well?
Eta: Obviously, I know that supply chains are dicked up etc, but Taylormade is saying that they won't be able to ship them until 8/26. Which means that they haven't even been made yet.
Extremely frustrating.

Cancel your order, get your specs and call Jason the CEO of sub 70, he will set you up and you will have yours in about 3 weeks (if they have the right shafts)

I ordered some Rouge ST Max irons from Callaway with one of their after-market shafts and had them in 72 hours.

Callaway and Cobra are shipping super fast right now. Usually within 3 days of order.

I just got my Sub70s. 2 week turn around. I’m extremely happy. Give them a look! P770s would match up with the CBs or MBs. The new line is incredible looking.
My buddy ordered some P790s last November. They came in last week. TM cannot fill an order within 6 months.

My PW broke, head went into a lake. Replacing it was around $150 even used. I wasn’t gng to do that for a 5/6 year old set. I had already looked into DTC clubs. I pulled the trigger on the Sub70 699 pros. I’m 2 rounds in and like them.
They are a club longer than my 565s and go straight! They just feel clicky which is to be expected. I can’t argue with the results though. I hit a ball today that I know would turned 20 yards left and been wet. It was 1 yard off the green.
