It has to be the Quarry GC in San Antonio for me.

Inside that thing you get zero wind.

A group of us played it about 10 years ago in July and we thought we were going to die. What possessed us to tee off at 1pm is beyond me.

We were so tired afterwards, nobody wanted to go out after dinner. I have played at 107 degrees in Vegas and it wasn't as bad as the Quarry.

We still talk about it,

I played Raven in Sandestin a few years ago. Only time we could get on was 1:00 pm. It was 100 degrees outside with damn near 100% humidity.

I love golf, but when we finally putt out on 18 I have never been more ready for a round of golf to end.

I played kiva dunes one day hungover and the wind wasn’t blowing. We teed off around 1030 and by hole 4 I was sticking my head in the ice chest. I almost crawled to the clubhouse, I was drenched.

I’m not sure about the hottest, but it was hot as hell in Crowley today.

1 old timer before teeing off on 14 said, “when it’s 40 in January and we’re bitching about the cold, remember this day boys.”

If you mean the Wilderness in Lake Jackson, that can get warm.

I love the course but those damn mosquitoes are B29's !

Back nine in the quarry is tough. Lot of junior events there and they started us on the back nine bc afternoon was so hot.

There are a couple places in South Texas that get pretty hot. Palmer and LaCantera have spots that get real hot, Mission Hills, Cedar, Canyon Springs to name a few.
Low key ramrock gets hot if the wind isn’t blowing.

Living in the South by the river, basically any time I played golf in June and July my whole life. Hottest I've ever felt on a golf course was when the St Jude in Memphis was in late July and just sitting stationary and baking in the sun all day.

Ramrock is a sled from the tips.

Great course but it will beat you down.

Living in Baton Rouge and mostly playing local here, I can tell you that my hottest round was NOT Silverado in Scottsdale in August 2018. It is a different animal here in LA. The worst is when the sun starts banging on your calves and you have nowhere to go

TPC in Nola is fricking hot and humid.

It’s surrounded by trees and a levee, no wind.

Played Wolf Creek in Mesquite about this time of year. When we were driving up, the temp in the car read 118. We played the front 9 and when we were making the turn they told us we had to come off the course because it was too dangerous and they were shutting down for the day.

Played TPC Scottsdale in 1987 when it was 120 degrees. It was a dry heat. It was me and 250 Tri Delta's at their national convention (my wife was an attendee). I played 36 holes that day and drank 2 gallons of water. My playing partner (who I had just met) left his clubs in his car overnight and when he teed off on the first hole, his driver head flew off because the glue had melted over night and caused the head to come off the club. Airplanes were not allowed to take off from Phoenix International because it was so hot they could not get the proper lift off the runway, so we had to stay an extra day. It was hot.

Abita Springs CC. Narrow, tree-lined fairways, zero air moving around, brutal.
