He looks so uncomfortable playing these days. His 74 looked like 84.

He was such a solid player and made the game look easy for a while.

It seems like his troubles began after he started chasing more distance.

Great young man, really pulling for him to regain his form.

His swing rehearsal makes Furyk’s swing look like Adam Scott.

I was texting my friends yesterday. It looks like he is actively rehearsing to come over the top.

Now that I’ve seen it all day, it looks like he’s trying to mimic DJ. I can only guess it’s an effort to cool off his draw which I don’t understand. He should adopt fat boy Reed’s mentality and just play that thing no matter what.

I think it is a more hands out rather than dropping from the top. Kinda like a Hovland move. My guess is trying a more shallowing move.

Spieth had a great year last year and made his way back to being a top golfer. Why in the world he thought a huge change was a good idea is so perplexing

Married and a kid. Problem no. 1.

I hate the over the top rehearsal. He’s clearly trying to hit cuts but he’s so laid off at the top and bowed - it’s just bizarre looking. I wish Chamblee would do some analysis on the changes since when he won.

There is a correlation between great players getting married/engaged/having kids and golf game going down, even for pros. Rickie Fowler cannot even qualify for tournaments anymore after getting married. Rory hasn’t won a major since he got engaged. Brooks hasn’t won a major since he got really serious with Jena.

He also made more 25 and 30 foot putts than any other golfer in the history of the sport. Especially around 2015. Seemed like every putt went in no matter where he was putting from.

It’s a feel vs. real rehearsal move but it’s so bizarre looking that half the time I feel like he’s working on shallowing whereas the other half it looks like the opposite.

You can see him try to lay the shaft down in his rehearsal. You can really see it in the titleist commercial.

Brooks has been legit injured so I'll give him a pass and his game has been significantly better than the other two (Jordan & Rickie).

I was having this convo with some golf buddies and the only guy from that OG group that hasn't fallen off is JT. Coincidence he isn't married or with children? I could also argue that this group (sans JT) has accumulated $40-50m+ in net worth and have 1/100th the drive that Tiger has to be dominant, so why push?

He tried to chase distance and his swing is very mechanical. Tough to make changes in a precis mechanical swing.
