he was leading at -5 after 10 holes, but he managed to put himself pretty close to the cut line at -3, T54 right now

For reference, this is how a typical PGA event distributes points:
Winner - 500 points
2nd place - 300
3rd - 190
4th - 135
5th - 110
6th - 100
7th - 90
8th - 85
9th - 80
10th - 75
etc.....

He's three under starting round 2. The cut is three under so he'll have to at least shoot par or under today. Talk about pressure, especially when your game has been struggling. Sam Burns is -4 today, -6 for the tourney. Tied for 23th after 16 holes. Smylie tees off after 3pm today.

cut is 3 under right now but once everyone plays today, it should get down to 5 or 6 under. Smylie needs another round like yesterday or better
