And no MDF this week since cut jumped to -5. Less than 78 made the 36 hole cut.

Still get paid and FEC points, but if 78 or more make the 36 hole cut, they bring it down to 70 and ties at 54 holes.
Main goal is to avoid split tees and threesomes on Sunday for TV. Players hate it because if they’re MDF’d they’re relegated to last place prize money and FEC points and not given a final round to improve.

Do they not finish because if they teeing off on #10 they have to finish before final group on 18?

Still a really encouraging tourney for him. First made cut in a year and a half.

He’s missed 16 straight cuts before this weekend. Still encouraging even if you finish DFL.

I think after his last year and a half, making the cut is encouraging. Long way to go, but it’s gotta start somewhere.
