What type of bounce is good for a 56 degree RTZ? Should I go with a 10 or 12? Or something lower?

From Clevelands site:

quote:

Choosing the Right Cleveland Wedges for Your Game
With such a diverse range of options, selecting the right Cleveland wedges can seem overwhelming. Let’s simplify the process by focusing on key factors that should influence your decision:

Your Current Iron Type
The most important consideration is matching your wedges to your irons for a seamless transition:

If you play blade or muscle back irons: The Cleveland RTX wedges or Cleveland RTZ wedges will provide a natural extension of your iron set with similar feel and workability.
If you play cavity back irons: The Cleveland CBX golf wedges will offer a more consistent experience, maintaining the forgiveness you’re accustomed to in your irons.
If you play super game-improvement irons: Consider the Cleveland Smart Sole wedges for maximum forgiveness and simplicity in your short game.
Your Swing Characteristics
Your swing tendencies should inform your bounce and grind selections:

Shallow angle of attack: Choose lower bounce options (L grind in RTX/RTZ, or lower lofted CBX models)
Moderate angle of attack: Mid-bounce options work well (M grind in RTX/RTZ, standard CBX models)
Steep angle of attack: Higher bounce prevents digging (F grind in RTX/RTZ, higher lofted CBX models, or Smart Sole)
Course Conditions
Typical playing conditions should also influence your choices:

Firm conditions: Lower bounce options help prevent the leading edge from skipping into the ball
Normal conditions: Mid-bounce options provide versatility across varying conditions
Soft conditions: Higher bounce helps the club glide through soft turf without digging
Shot Versatility Requirements
Consider how many different types of shots you typically play with your wedges:

If you use a wide variety of short game shots: The RTX/RTZ with appropriate grinds or the CBX Full-Face provide maximum versatility
If you prefer a consistent, simple approach: The standard CBX or Smart Sole models promote consistency with fewer variables

I might go to dicks and buy the 56 degree rtz high bounce after work and try it this weekend if it doesn’t rain.

I have a few different lob wedges I sometimes rotate if conditions change but I always use a 54° F 14 Vokey. My favorite lob wedge is a V grind Vokey from wedge works. It can do everything in anything but the tightest conditions and is a gamer from the fairway.

When the put lower bounce wedges in play my fairway 40-80 shot game is not as sharp.

I hit a Harry Taylor 54 and 58 wedge this morning. Guy has them for sale. Really liked them. May get those.

Went swing a few at the local golf shop and ended up picking up a 60* TM Hi-toe. Felt really good and balanced. We'll see how it acts on the course today or tomorrow.

I just got a new Mizzy Pro T-3 in 58* and I like it a lot.

I have been a Vokey guy my entire life. This year I got fitted for Mizuno irons, and ended up trying the wedges too. I'll never hit another wedge besides Mizuno again. I have a Pro T-3 in 54* and Pro T-1 in 60*. That 60* wedge is my best friend.

The DTC option is also a good one.
I was playing Mizuno T24 wedges and then jumped on the Edison Golf bandwagon.

Edison Wedges

What I liked about them is their philosophy on grinds. They do not have a myriad of grinds but have a multi-beveled grind that is suitable for all/most conditions. I’ve had mine for a couple of months and really love them. One year money back guarantee.

Edel is another brand to look into. My buddy is a PGA teaching pro and swear by Edel clubs.

Love my V grind WW, been fighting G and S wedges so tossed my old BeCu Ping Eye 2 W and S in the bag to bring back the glory days and I am liking the setup.
