Push cart vs carry bag

Currently don’t have a carry bag, thinking about walking some here and there. Should I go the push cart route or the carry bag? Prices can be similar.. assuming I’m gonna do one or the other and not rent a push cart.

Push cart IMO. Get a Clic Gear and you will never regret it.

How good of shape are you in? Carrying can be tough depending on the course and conditions.
Are you going to go to a stand/Sunday bag full time, or just when you walk? If it's just when you walk, I'd lean push cart so you don't have to swap bags.

I have both. Picked up a small Jones carry bag during their Black Friday sale as well. Haven't tested it out yet.
That being said a cart is just more hands free, and I like a drink holder.

I use a carry stand bad all the time. Hate them giant heavy bags. Have a push cart but haven't used it yet. The people I play with are lazy asses and won't walk.

I’ll carry 9 holes once in a blue moon but almost always use push cart (unless playing in a game or tournament). I much prefer the push cart.
It allows you to get exercise, take your time walking but also not have to lug the bag around.

Carry bag for me. Push cart is just something else to store and deal with.

Push cart all day for me. Mine has an umbrella holder that I use during any rain (of course), but more importantly when it is hot as hell outside and I want to walk in the shade.
The drink holder and built in cooler are also nice features.

Push carts are easier and more convenient, but not allowed at a few places I play at frequently.
I like to carry because it offsets some of the beer I drink during the round (or at least I like to think it does)

Push cart 1000%
Pros:
-Less taxing on your body (if only for 9 holes or less it becomes more of a debate but for 18 it's a no doubter)
-Gives you more opportunities to walk without being miserable (if it's 100* I'm in the cart anyway but for that buffer temperature zone between cool and hot weather that has you not wanting to walk with a bag covering your sweaty back but not feeling like riding, you can push and still be "walking" your round. I think this one combined with the one above is the biggest factor.
-Drink Holder/Handsfree Umbrella Holder for the sun and rain
Cons:
-Have to buy one
-Need a spot to keep it
-Deploying it/Putting it away each use (doesn't bother me but I see how it could get annoying)

Walking the course is hard enough.. carrying a bag too, frick that
I enjoy walking, and play much better doing so. but I’m Not about to carry a bag around for 18 holes

I was in the market for a push cart after carrying for a while when Covid started. After looking at them online I realized that my toddlers stroller has everything I need in a push cart. I have been using the stroller for about 6 months now with no issues.

Some of you replying you carry. Based on what I see on the golf course most of you are full of shite. Be smart and go with the push cart. Still great exercise and holds everything you need. Walking the whole course is enough without carrying all of your shite.

I used to walk and carry all the time in Junior Golf. I tried it in my 30s in Dallas in May... I thought I was going to die coming up 18.
I did it in Scotland a couple years ago, and it wasn't terrible.
I much prefer the push cart.

No it's not. But then again, not all of us are fat fricks.
