Moving into a new house with a third car garage. Would like to turn this into a hitting bay/sim, but don’t want to break the bank.
Advice for mats, nets, sims, anything else.

I set up a Garmin r10, with the DIY 8x8 enclosure from carlofet LINK

Got a couple mats on Amazon (small real feel mat and larger cheap mat) and a projector from Walmart.

All in less than $2k for everything and easy set up. I play everyday, mostly using e6 but the Garmin home tee hero is fun to play around on.

Highly recommend getting a set up, game has significantly improved just by being able to hit more often.

Hell, you got a three car garage. Bust that bank open.

I've looked at the Garmin R10 and for the money it looks like a great value. I think around $600, if you can find one.

A buddy of mine has the garmin and he says that it’s not always accurate when it comes to the driver. But a 6 iron data is on par with high end sims.

I'm pretty sure the garmin has to estimate some of the data, so its not going to be the most accurate. The price difference explains that clear enough. I'd set a budget and see what you can afford. Garmin would be the very low end, SkyTrak would be the next step up, GC3/BLP would be next. I'm not a fan of radar indoors personally, but the mevo+ is the same price range as the SkyTrak.

Look at the Mevo plus. Have read some good things on it. Get a good hitting mat that won't slide on the floor when you hit. And get a big enough net...or rig an impact screen to ceiling
