As others have said, technically no mass on Good Friday - but most churches will have the stations of the cross.
Regardless, just go. Whatever mass time you can make and whatever parish, try that. Catholic or not, you are welcome.

I am facing a situation where my job may be going away in Louisiana. Doing well with my company and have a good reputation/likelihood of landing another role in the company, but likely will be forced into moving to Houston or elsewhere, or taking a major pay cut to stay home.

Therein lies the issue, probably playing muni course, nothing special.
Probably going to play because I’ll take any chance I get to play a full 18 since I have young kids and little spare time when home.

So being able to actually use the tens of thousands of dollars we’ve paid into the system, specifically for education, on education, is now a handout?
It’s better that money just disappear in to the black hole of the gov’t?

It is the local school boards, sheriffs offices, etc that approve this, not the gov. That’s actually one of the changes JBE put in place, approval authority goes to the impacted areas, and he reduced the benefit from 100% for 10 years, to 80% for 5 years with an option to be approved for another 5. ...

Not about NEEDING a tax break. Sure it helps, but at the end of the day, it’s about finding the best site for the project. If LA wants the jobs and tax revenue generated here, then incentives like this is a way to compete with other states… ...

Got a couple mats on Amazon (small real feel mat and larger cheap mat) and a projector from Walmart.
All in less than $2k for everything and easy set...
