It's gonna be hot as hell with an afternoon tee time. Any advice for someone who's never played it? I'm sure we'll play the Member tees. Nobody in the group is good enough for the Scratch or Tiger tees.

Don't get too excited just because you hit a green in regulation.

Difficult greens? Short game is usually my strong suit. Member tees don't seem too intimidating. One Par 5 at 582 but no Par 3s over 165 if what I'm seeing online is accurate.

Appreciate all the advice guys!

Yes, greens are difficult. Easy to 3 putt. But worse, IMO, is getting it up and down if you miss. There are few places to miss greens and have an easy up and down.

Whatever you think the break is, double it. They are rolling really fast right now too. Also there is some blind trouble off the boxes. Check that before you hit a great drive only to be penalized by water that comes into play or a fairway bunker you can’t see or a grassy hazard area.

That’s my biggest issue. There are few good places to “miss” the green. There aren’t many easy up and downs,

The greens are rather large, but many of the greens are very complex leaving your with a lot if tough two puts.

It’s a very good test for most golfers from the gold tees.

Really appreciate all the advice guys. We only have one in the group who's played it, but it was several years ago. I have my SkyCaddie for carry yardages.

It's gonna be hot as hell but can't wait to finally play it.

Stay below the hole, even short of the green, and you’ll be fine.

On number 2 make sure your approach shot lands on the same level as the pin.

If you enjoy lightning fast, rock hard, severely sloped, elevated greens then you are in for a real treat.

For me, it is the golfing equivalent of a root canal.

I’ll second everything you said. I hate it since the redesign.

We have the Section CPC there in a couple weeks. Let us know how it’s playing! I still haven’t played since the redesign.

Just got home. Two of the guys bailed so we were a twosome sandwiched in between two groups of 5.

Overall the course was in great shape. Firm and fast. I'm not sure the greens could be cut any lower. Overall my reads were decent, but pace was an issue with running them 3-4ft past the hole. It appeared the tee boxes were being shuffled around a little bit, but overall I have zero complaints.

45/47 for a 92 with 35 putts. The course is straightforward, I think learning the greens by playing more would lead to lower scores for me.

Overall, thanks to everyone's advice on staying below the hole!

The couple times I played there, it was more like
