It’s still Webb, but I’ll be goddamned... there was actual, real golf course grass out there. Course has come a long way.

Webb could be great if it was in a different city that cared about golf.

I still contend that BREC needs to sell the 5 holes across College and make the 13 holes on the main side into a 2-way (or two tee), 9 hole course with a range.

Sell the 5 across College and the little bit of land to the left of the creek, and you could get money to front a serious 9 hole course with a really nice practice area and full range.

Not a bad idea but I’d hate to lose #3. Got me second ace on that one.

I always like the layout of Webb. It’s a nice layout.

It wasn't waterlogged? I thought about going this afternoon but figured it would be too wet.

that just dumb. I would never pay money to play a 9 hole course no matter how nice it is

This might be the most ridiculous statement I've ever seen on the Golf Board.

As owner of some of the more ridiculous statements on the board, this is way beyond anything I can recall saying.

You're an idiot.
There are some badass executive courses out there that are as good or better than a lot of 18-hole courses, and more fun. These may not all be 9-holes, but an executive course can be amazing. Bandon Preserve is incredible.

Played there over the weekend. Course in really good shape. Greens were much faster than I thought they would be. Fairways more plush than I've ever seen at Webb. Definitely going back. I've heard The Johnny Lawrence is consulting and doing a good job.

We're making slow but steady progress. The trees on 12 were big to get removed. Trying to determine how best to allocate the resources we have remaining.
