Imagine if you played 18 instead of 9.

I remember thinking once that I would always break 80. I look back and laugh at that a lot.

Golf is hard

I admittedly have been lazy about lining up and focusing on putts but that;s no excuse,

Hig 9, 48 on the front at Oak Harbor (hate that course with a passion)
Low 9, 39 on the back at English Turn

Lowlight: two OB in a row on 8 at Oak Harbor
Highlight: Hitting 15 green in two at English Turn, pin high, missing the eagle putt but making the birdie (first time I've ever successfully hit that green in two on my own ball)

Had a good round going yesterday. 40 on the front, bogeyed 10, then collapsed with a quad, triple, double back to back to back.

91, 88, then 94 in March
--------------------
105, 109, then stopped counting in April

My iron play, wedges, & putting have all improved this year.

My last three rounds I've lost 6, 8, & 11 balls all off the tee. Par 3 irons at the tee are fine. My driver's killing me. I started getting distance with the driver in March & it messed me up.

I'm now letting my lower hand drag, thus opening the face & a big slice. I don't want to adjust my stance or club face, I want to fix my hand/wrist.

That is golf.

All the more apt four letter words were already in use.

At least you had a good round!

The last 3 in GHIN
39
88
94

Home course was 9.
Then 2 away rounds at 2 different courses.

The 94 was 42/52
Back 9 was crazy mountain golf.
“Aim at that tall tree that is beyond the creek. I think the hole is 30 yards up hill, add 2 or 3 clubs. Don’t hit a yard left of pin, it want stop.”

And on and on. Just crazy. Greens sloped severely. Tough 9 for me.
