We were there in 2013 when Pope Benedict resigned. We were able to still tour the Vatican but was unable to see the Sistine Chapel as it was being setup for the Conclave. Not sure if a death vs resignation would be any different but assuming the money the Church makes from tours, they wouldn't stop tours from happening. Pope Francis was elected while we were in Venice a week or so later.

One hour per every 10 degrees of air temperature is what is recommended and what I do. Live in Dallas so I run for 7 hours in the Spring, 10 hours in the summer, 7 hours in the fall and 5 hours in the winter but at night. Freeze protection usually kicks on at night so no need to run twice as much as needed.
I have 4 tickets in Sec 106, Row L seats 9-12. $150.
We rented this house last year with another family.

And rented from a boat and was able to keep it at the house as It had a dock.

re: Putting Distance Control

Best putters look at the hole 90% of the time while they are over the ball. Most amateurs are over the ball and spend the majority of the time looking down and quickly glancing at the hole.

Think about that. When you are shooting a basketball, you look at the rim - not at the ball.

Make sure you are looking at the hole the majority of the time and let your brain take over and you’ll be surprised how your control improves. Again, a good consistent stroke is a big part as well.

Go back to the basics. Check alignment, ball position, grip. Go to the range and just practice half or 3/4 swings concentrating on center face - ball first contact. Once you start pouring these shots, gradually work up to full swing.

How many rounds this year?

Posted by lsuwiseman on 12/26/23 at 9:56 pm
Just checked GHIN app and have 91 rounds this year. Hope to play 1 more before year end. Had 73 in 2022.

I had the same issue with my outdoor fridge last winter. Called a repair man and he said more than likely that a mouse chewed the wires. He said take a look before I head and and charge you a service visit. He said they look for warmth in the winter so a small motor like that puts out a little hear. Sure enough, I take off the back panel and all the wires were chewed. I was able to splice the wires back together and placed a protective sleeve over them so it hopefully won't happen again - so far so good.

I live in the Dallas area - not BR
We chose Telluride for the same type of getaway a couple of years ago and had a blast. Stayed in Mountain Village above Telluride - shops, restaurants, all in a quaint setting that the kids can roam around easily. Gondola ride is free (both ways) down into the town of Telluride with more shops, restaurants, etc. we did plenty of hiking, white water rafting one day, jeep rental one day high up on the old mining roads (white-knuckled since I’m afraid of heights), rented kayaks and cruised around on a lake nearby - bought a cheap fishing pole and the kids fished as well.

Family enjoyed the different scenery as we are usually beach people.
On family vacation in London in 2019, I took my son to a Tottenham game. It was a “friendly” so tixs might have been easier to come by versus EPL game. Bought tixs on StubHub.

South Seas Resort on Captiva. Took the family there last year and absolutely loved it. Another family came along and they loved it also. We will be going back, Rented a boat for 2 days and had lunch at Cabbage Key Inn, and cruised around and anchored on Cayo Costa. Beautiful beaches, tons of shells, kids were picking up sand dollars, star fish, etc. A number of great restaurants on Captiva - Doc Fords, Mucky Duck and a few others. A carribean vibe with as opposed to the typical Destin black trip.

Cheerleaders meet up with the band before they march down to Victory Hill. Have many pics with kids with cheerleaders and mike the tiger over the years.
Best drill & super easier to do inside.
