56 in a 4 person scramble is damn strong. I assume that all 4 are scratch or better? Unless y’all had multiple mulligans.

Lots of mulligans, middle tees, and I couldn’t miss. I missed an ace by 4”. It was just one of those days.

Makes you wish y’all were playing best ball. I’ve had days like that.

Played Squire Creek today. It was very wet, yet greens were not soft.

Took a lesson with Mike at English Turn a few weeks ago and he helped with my swing big time, I was all messed up. Took me a long time to get the hang of the new one and i still have a long way to go, but its coming together. after the first lesson i think my driving distance dropped by about 50 yards, almost called it quits on the new swing but i stuck with it and its back to the original distance maybe +10 yards but its way more comfortable and accurate and im still only swinging at about 65% as opposed to 100% with my old swing.

What’s Mike’s number

I’m swinging out my shoes, losing distance, and have 0 accuracy right now. Totally lost with the driver.

I’ve never played the 18 hole pelican course. Just the walking course.
I played Greystone once.

I guess I can do either.
I’m gonna go hit my 9 iron at lunch the rest of the week. Hopefully, I can get a decent swing back.

87 at LSU yesterday. 4 pars 2 birdies, 3 ugly ugly ugly triple bogeys...all resulting from going OB off the tee, and 9 bogeys. Could have easily been an 81 if I keep the ball in play.

50% FIR 30% GIR 11% Recovery 1.83 Putt avg. 33 total putts.

My tee game is destroying my overall game. Anybody got a go to guy for some driving lessons? (BR area)

Either you are freaking out on the tee box or that driver doesn't fit you. When in doubt, blame the club.

My normal swing produces a terrible slice with my driver off the tee. So I have to go to this draw swing off the tee to keep the damn thing in play and then I struggle with pulling the ball, producing a bigger slice or hitting one down the fairway. It’s roll the dice on every tee box.

If I produce a fade or a draw, fine, but I’m dying for some consistency and knowing what to expect.

I'd bet good money you need a different shaft in that driver. I went through that for years, and finally got a driver that fit me. Now, I know or at least should know whats going to happen based on my swing.
