Sorry I haven’t made one of these in a while. March is upon us! Hopefully, the freezing weather is done on the Gulf Coast. Golf season is approaching.
Where you played/what you shoot?
I haven’t booked a round yet this month, but I think February took my shanks with it. Thank you BeaverPro for fixing my horrible swing.
This is a great place to post course reviews so we can avoid the 350 “Copper Mill update?” Threads.

Played Saturday. Greens were primo, but fairways left a lot to be desired. Very bare and what looked like poa popping up. Something about the cold weather damaging their sprinkler system a few weeks ago...not sure.

actually played there Saturday. Was a rough round as it was the first of the year and had new irons and new driver in the bag. Hacked up a 90. First time I’ve played there in about 7 years. Definitely not in the same shape is was then. Greens were bumpy as hell. They also had the BR am tour playing a tourney there that morning.

I've been playing there a good bit lately and it's in far better shape now that it has been in recent years.
Island closing down got them some fresh money. Suppose to be redoing the greens soon.

The All About the Fun Golf League tees it up at Kissimmee Bay GC this Saturday at 8:00.
Warm up round last Saturday 41-39, 4 birdies, 2 doubles and a quad.
Interesting round.

Played Deerfield in MS Sunday, shot 86. Still pretty wet in the low areas, but greens were great as usual.

Played Audubon two weeks ago and shot +12. I love the course but you can tell they’re making no effort at all to maintain it other than the bare minimum. Hopefully it reopens fully soon.
Played bayou oaks and chateau last week. Short game let me down hard at both.
This weekend I’m probably playing bayou oaks or chateau again.

It’s fine and definitely playable, just not the excellent shape you’d catch it in pre Covid.

Playing in the Gulf Coast Slavic Chase tournament at Shell Landing on Saturday. Weather looks great! Should be a good time.
