Clemson is pretty far back. It would take an incredible round from them and a bad one for LSU for them to catch up.

For sure, but they shot -11 yesterday and #44 ranked Arkansas St., technically a worse team that Clemson, shot -14. So the low scores are out there and when you're counting 5 scores, 11 strokes isn't unreasonable.

4 scores.

They are 11 back. As I said, it would take an great round by them and a bad one for LSU.

Great start for LSU this morning. -5 after 4 holes and has jumped into 3rd place at -23 for the tournament. They play the back 9 holes very well. Need to keep creating distance between Bama (who is currently -16).

Man if it wasn't for the sub Haskew they put in today we'd be on fire. Still a very good start.

Filip Jakubcik for Arizona making a 1 on the 678 yard par 5 has to be an error, correct?

He cut the dogleg, bounced off the cart path, skipped twice over the pond, hit a rake, reached the slope, and trickled right to left into the hole.

Good thing that his score won't count.

Looks like we'll be safely in. Duke and Bama going to come down to the wire for the last spot.

Arkansas St played the par 5 #11 hole at a combined -6 today. That one hole could give them just enough to move forward.
