Carter Plantation is in immaculate position right now. Like literally the only complaint would be that there are grass clippings everywhere. It's that nit-picky.

Honestly why the downvote? Which of you hates Carter that much? He’s right, it’s as good as it’s ever been right now. Greens keeper is killing it

By all means, don’t come out to play here. Stay where you are I guess

Oakwing Update
Greens have improved tremendously in last 3 weeks. Abt 95% back and thick to the point of needing to be cut and rolled. I guess they being very careful with the Deep South 4Ball coming up.
Fairways still in best shape in years, bunkers were playable but still need some love.
Was skeptical when heading out there today and pleasantly surprised with the conditions after the round. Should be in great shape in week or two.

Pelican Point was great today. Fairways are lush and dry and greens are A+

I concur. In fact, #12 was to the point you would have never known there was a problem.

Played Beaver Creek yesterday and other than most of the sand being harder than concrete it was in great shape.

Still idiots driving carts right up to the green? Not repairing ball marks? Not sanding divots? Tom and crew if you are reading this, get some enforcement out there.

I mean I witness questionable cart pratices on most courses around here..

What we had issues with was the pair of Dinguses slow playing in front of us..

I'd love to see warnings for not raking traps.

I've heard the same thing from everyone I've talked to about MPCC. Apparently they had a company come out and evaluate the greens. Told them exactly what they needed to do to get the course back right and its been in great shape ever since. I need to go check it out. I havent played there in years.

It's playing difficult right now too... the rough is still up from Cotton States. The did just verticut the greens and sand em though. Played 9 yesterday and the rough whooped my arse.

Played Audubon this weekend and was surprised to see it in better condition. Also seemed like they had a full golf staff working in there which would be a first since Covid started.

Copper Mill is in good shape and the greens are in great condition but slow. It's like they are afraid to cut the greens low.
It's not Beaver Creek or Carter shape but it drains better.

Links punched recently. Short game was a crap shoot. We need rain in a big way.

Played Oakwing this past Saturday and was disappointed in the greens. They were better than they were a month ago when I played but some of them are just downright awful. I think #3 was probably the worst. Completely bare in some areas and painted.
