Just looked up the LIV standing. Some obviously don't put any stock into what happens on LIV but man Sergio has had a good year over there. A win and three 2nd place finishes. Third in overall standings.

DIdn't realize Bryson hasn't had a single win this year, though his team is leading the standings. Rahm has yet to finish outside the top 10 in any event and top 5 in 8 of the 12. Dude is clearly the best player over there. Not that that is breaking news, just kind of obvious after almost a full season now.

Bubba Watson in the drop zone. Whatever that is. Can't be good

Was curious if anything ever came of this. Bayou oaks is doing some renovations currently to the range (adding lights), so thought it might actually happen.

I'm pretty sure they are installing trackman or top tracer.

What doesn't work about it? Just doesn't pick up enough shots? Shot data obviously inaccurate?

1. Even when working it just sucks. The range balls are such shite and wildly inconsistent from ball to ball it’s almost pointless

2. It rarely works So hard to consistently connect and find your shot

I would enjoy it, but this would require a significant investment and also require them to upgrade the balls and increase already high prices. Would be pretty comical to be pulling trackman data using limited flight and busted up range balls they currently have.

I’m pretty sure it’s just lights, but I have no insider knowledge obviously.

Its trackmans too. I talked to the lady in the pro shop and she said its lights and "something so you can see where your ball goes or something"

They are putting in top tracer and will be raising the price of the buckets by about 30%. A small bucket (30 balls) will be about $13, large about $20.

Will it be optional to not use the top tracer and just get a large bucket.

I don’t get any value out of the city park driving range other than working on swing changes and warming up. Don’t want to pay 20 for a bucket just to get incorrect numbers.

Toptracer is up and functioning. Couldn't get any real distance data as the tech doesn't take into account wind and it was blowing straight in 20 mph this afternoon. Driver ball speed did seem fairly accurate.

There's games and courses uploaded as well to play.

Seemed to capture ball flight and dispersion fairly well. They also put out some 50 yard targets finally.
