I’m about to put a bullet in my Bushnell. It’s been nothing but trouble. What other range finders are y’all using?

I lost a Bushnell 2 days ago while walking the course. I realized it on the next hole and went back but the guys behind me said they didn’t see it. I spent 40 minutes looking for it. I have a feeling one of them has it.

My Bushnell was probably 10 years old and was flawless.

I put a Tile tracker thing on mine. I haven't left it since I did, but if that situation ever happens to me, they'll be caught red handed when it starts making noise in their bag.

Or once it starts making noise, they just simply pry the tracker off and throw it in the woods

In my daydream of the situation, I waited to press the sound button until after asking the group behind me.

Had a Nikon that needed replacement during Covid, all I could find was a BlueTees w/slope. Has worked perfectly for 1.5yrs so far…

What’s the trouble? Never had an issue with either of mine. One from high school died a about 2 years ago. Loved it. Buschnell doesn’t make the big binocular ones anymore so I ordered the one that has the gps built into the side. I like it. Doesn’t have the magnet which sucks. But I do like that it’s a GPS and laser.

When I was in the market the garmin ones looked awesome. But in the end I trusted Bushnell

I second this. Great range finder with slope. I had my last Callaway range finder for 12 years

Sometimes, it doesn’t lock on to a target even a large tree.

Sometimes, it locks on but doesn’t give me a number.

Sometimes, it works like it is supposed to.

As far as losing range finder, could a long cord be attached to the range finder at one end and the bag or cart at the other?

I always leave the case for my range finder in the cart. That way when I'm doing my stupid check at the end of the round it reminds me to grab it and put it up.

Precision Pro NX10. I had the NX9 Slope and had great customer service from Precision Pro after a couple of incidents (knocked it off the cart and broke the battery door, they replaced the whole thing).

Did the upgrade a couple months ago, and this new one is even better. I can't say enough good things about Precision Pro.

Oh, and they are based in Cincinnati, and have become LSU fans because of Joe Burrow. They have a cool Burrow cover for the NX10.

I bought that one earlier this year after I lost my older Bushnell. It's worked fine for me.

I love when someone says they have an “accurate” range finder. I’ve been on the tee for thousands of par 3s and the range finder of a playing partner has never been more than a yard different than mine.

What would define an inaccurate range finder?
