They’ve come out with some golf clothes that are more comfortable and casual but still look the part overall. Hell I’ve even played a few rounds in joggers on public courses, I’m not a golf dress code warrior…
That being said, Jon Rahm is at the PGA Championship straight up in a grey hoodie that looks like something I’d wear to walk my dog in the morning.

This is fairly common now. JT, Rory, Theegala, all wear them. Normally when it's drizzling or cold and take them off later if it stops/warms up. I think I heard Rory talk about it one time that he just prefers the feel of the hoodie over the rain gear.
Edit: And fwiw, joggers are a much bigger offense to golf attire than a hoodie with polo underneath.

Nothing wrong with a hoodie.. Hell most of my cooler weather golf gear involves a hoodie.... I have like 8 different ones to choose from depending on how cold it may be that day...
Also that Greyson hoodie he's wearing ain't cheap if it's just the regular one is 170 bucks... if its the Cashmere one that summbitch is 320.. it's not like he wearing a $14 Champion hoodie from the local Walmart

I don’t get the hoodie thing either. They just look kind of sloppy out there. Quarter Zips or sweaters, please.
ETA: I’ll also say, I like a little cool air on the back of my neck.
If you’re cold, quarter zips or sweaters with a beanie looks better than the hoodie to me.

I don’t mind the thin cashmere looking hoodies. They look “nice”. The one Rahm is wearing today is just like a regular thick basketball player hoodie
